Bruins winger David Pastrnak has taken the step from emerging star to one of the league’s best this season. The 23-year-old leads the NHL in goals with 36, which is just two shy of his career-best mark of 38 set last season. The Czech forward is becoming a household name. In the Bruins win on Thursday, four different players had goals. While Pastrnak had no goals, he assisted on two of them. Boston shows no signs of slowing down with their dynamic offensive.

The Penguins came into the week with a four-game winning streak. However, the Bruins broke that up. The team has managed to have this much success without the services of their captain Sidney Crosby for the last couple of months. Crosby has appeared in less than 25 games this season due to a core muscle injury. Finally making his return to the lineup, Crosby has already given the team a huge boost. He scored a goal against the Bruins on Thursday.
