The cream has started rising to the top in the NFL.

In case anybody was still doubting the Philadelphia Eagles (6-1) as a top-3 team, they proved naysayers wrong with a dominant 31-17 win vs. the Miami Dolphins (5-2) on Sunday Night Football.

Not to be outdone, the Baltimore Ravens (5-2) saw their QB Lamar Jackson‘s odds to win MVP — for a 2nd time — jump from +1800 pregame to +700 after their 38-6 rout of the Detroit Lions (5-2) in Week 7.

There are no teams off in Week 8, so we have a busy board to preview.

The Buffalo Bills (5-3) kicked off the new week with a 24-18 home victory Thursday vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4). However, the Bucs covered as 10-point underdogs, dropping the Bills to 0-4 against the spread in their last 4 games.

The Dallas Cowboys (4-2) are coming off a bye and looking for a 2nd straight win vs. an L.A. team when they welcome the Los Angeles Rams (3-4) to AT&T Stadium in the early slate Sunday.

The Carolina Panthers (0-6) have another chance to cover a spread for the 1st time this season when they host the Houston Texans (3-3) as 3-point home underdogs.

The Denver Broncos (2-5), fresh off their 1st ATS win of the season, will revisit their “Bad Blood” with TE Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs (6-1) as they play each other for a 2nd time in 3 weeks Sunday afternoon.

Which team can disappoint its fans more this season? The Chicago Bears (2-5) visit the Los Angeles Chargers (2-4) to settle the debate on SNF.

Finally, we wrap up Week 8 with 2 teams looking to bounce back from blowout losses as the Lions host the Las Vegas Raiders (3-4) on MNF.
