Baltimore Ravens favored on road at Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6

The Baltimore Ravens are the betting favorites in their Week 6 road matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Baltimore Ravens (4-1) take the short jaunt up Interstate 95 to battle the Philadelphia Eagles (1-3-1) Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Below, we take a look at the early Week 6 betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.

Baltimore blasted the visiting Cincinnati Bengals by a 27-3 count, covering for the first time since Week 2. This will be the second game of the season for the Ravens against the NFC East. The Ravens pounded the Washington Football Team in the nation’s capital by a 31-17 score in Week 4, just missing out on a 14.5-point cover. The Ravens are just 31st in the NFL with 178.8 passing yards per game, but they’re third in the league with 160.8 rushing yards per contests while posting 29.8 PPG to rank ninth. On defense, they have yielded just 15.2 PPG, tops in the NFL.

The Eagles surprised the San Francisco 49ers on the road in Week 4, winning outright as an 8.5-point underdog 25-20. They were unable to carry over the momentum at the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, falling 38-29. They’re now 1-4 ATS overall. At home, the Eagles have yet to taste victory, going 0-1-1 SU and 0-2 ATS, averaging just 21.0 PPG while coughing up 30.0 PPG. Philly is 28th in the league with 322.4 total yards per game, and is last in the league with 11 turnovers. The Eagles have a dismal minus-7 turnover ratio.

Winless New York Giants favored at home over Washington Football Team in Week 6

The New York Giants are slight home betting favorites against the Washington Football Team by the Week 6 NFL betting odds and lines.

The Washington Football Team (1-4) square off with the New York Giants (0-5) Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Below, we take a look at the early Week 6 betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.

Washington is coming off an ugly 30-10 loss at home against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. It was its most lopsided setback of the season and it has now dropped four in a row since a Week 1 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles; Washington is 1-3 against the spread during the span. WFT ranks 32nd with 263.0 total yards of offense per game. It’s 30th in passing yards per game with 181.6 and 31st in rushing yards per game at 81.4. Washington is also one of the worst scoring teams in the NFL with just 17.8 points per game to rank 30th.

The Giants are perfect, but not in a good way. They have dropped each of their five games to date, although three of their past four losses have been one-score games. They lost a barn burner in Dallas in Week 5, falling 37-34 to cover a 7.5-point number. The offense finally looked alive after managing an average of just 11.8 PPG over the first four weeks. Oddly enough, though, the G-Men are 3-0 ATS in three road games and 0-2 ATS in two home dates.

Arizona Cardinals slight road favorites at Dallas Cowboys in Week 6

The Arizona Cardinals are the betting favorites in their Week 6 road matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Arizona Cardinals (3-2) visit the Dallas Cowboys (2-3) in the Week 6 Monday Night Football game. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. at AT&T Stadium. Below, we take a look at the early Week 6 betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.

The Cardinals cruised to a 30-10 victory at the winless New York Jets in Week 5, snapping a two-game slide. QB Kyler Murray threw for 380 yards and a 37-yard touchdown to WR DeAndre Hopkins, who finished with six catches for 131 yards. Murray also ran for 31 yards and a score, while RBs Kenyan Drake (60 rushing yards) and Chase Edmonds (36 rushing yards) added a TD apiece. Arizona had 500 total yards until taking a knee at the end of the game.

The Cowboys needed a Greg Zuerlein 34-yard field goal as time expired to beat the visiting New York Giants 37-34. But the big news was the season-ending injury to QB Dak Prescott (right ankle compound fracture) in the third quarter with the Cowboys ahead 24-23. Backup Andy Dalton (9 of 11, 111 yards) took over and found him and Dallas trailing 34-31 with 8:46 remaining. The former Cincinnati Bengals starting QB would steer an 11-play drive, which concluded with a game-tying field goal at the 1:56 mark. The Cowboys defense forced the Giants to punt 56 seconds later. Then Dalton hit three passes with WR Michael Gallup making sensational sideline catches on the final two. Gallup’s second catch (to the New York 16) allowed Dallas to run the clock down to 3 seconds before kicking the game-winner. RB Ezekiel Elliott finished with 91 yards and two TDs on 19 carries.

QB Joe Burrow threw for just 183 yards, was intercepted once, lost a fumble and was sacked seven times. The Colts had a three-game win streak snapped with a 32-23 loss at the Cleveland Browns Sunday. Indy’s defense, which ranks first in the league in passing yards allowed (179.6 YPG), yielded 228 passing yards in the first half as Cleveland built a 20-10 lead. Just 2:45 into the third quarter, a Browns 47-yard interception return for a score increased the lead to 27-10, but KR Isaiah Rodgers returned the ensuing kickoff 101 yards for a touchdown – the longest play in the NFL this season, so far. However, the Colts could only get within six points (29-23) with 2:50 to go. QB Philip Rivers finished with 243 passing yards, no touchdowns and two picks in the defeat.
