Week 5 has all but wrapped up and we still have 2 teams with perfect records. The Philadelphia Eagles (5-0) and San Francisco 49ers (5-0) stayed perfect with victories over the Los Angeles Rams (2-3) and Dallas Cowboys (3-2), respectively.
However, we are down to just 1 winless team as we turn the page to Week 6. The Chicago Bears (1-4) finally got in the win column with a 40-20 road victory over the Washington Commanders (2-3) on Thursday Night Football. However, the Carolina Panthers (0-5) weren’t even close to competitive in a 42-24 loss at the Detroit Lions (4-1) and emerge as the sole winless team.
Week 6 kicked off with the Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) winning at home 19-8 — and covering by a hook as 10.5-point favorites — Thursday over the Denver Broncos (1-5).
The International Series continues with an early Sunday morning affair between the Baltimore Ravens (3-2) and the Tennessee Titans (2-3) at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.
San Francisco will look to stay perfect with a Sunday visit to the Cleveland Browns (2-2) while Philadelphia will test its record at MetLife Stadium against the New York Jets (2-3). Carolina faces an uphill battle to record its first win as it takes to the road to battle the Miami Dolphins (4-1).
Sunday Night Football features the New York Giants (1-4) at the Buffalo Bills (3-2) and the week wraps with the Cowboys visiting the Los Angeles Chargers (2-2) on Monday Night Football.
The Green Bay Packers (2-2 ahead of Week 5’s Monday Night Football) and Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) are on bye.
