Falcons at Packers game notes
- The Packers have surged out to a 3-0 record while outscoring their opponents by a total of 122-85. All three wins came by at least a 7-point margin and Green Bay is 3-0 ATS while covering the line by 11.5 points per game.
- The Falcons have blown big leads in each of their last two games, losing outright to the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears. They lost 38-25 to the Seattle Seahawks in their season opener.
- These two teams haven’t played since Week 14 of the 2018 season. The Packers won 34-20 with interim head coach Joe Philbin. Falcons QB Matt Ryan threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in that loss.
- The Packers (40.7) and Falcons (30.0) rank first and sixth, respectively, in points per game through three weeks. It’s why this matchup had the highest projected Over/Under of the Week 4 slate.
- After leading the league with 19 rushing and receiving touchdowns in 2019, Packers RB Aaron Jones has five total touchdowns and 398 yards from scrimmage through three games.

Falcons at Packers: Odds, betting lines, picks and prediction
Prediction
Packers 38, Falcons 27
Money line (?)
The Packers (-295) will remain undefeated and move to 4-0 at home against a win-less Falcons (+245) team. Falcons head coach Dan Quinn is fighting to keep his job amid his team’s woeful start, but the Week 4 matchup isn’t playing to his favor.
Expect an offensive shootout with the Packers getting a few more defensive stops when needed. PASS on the unprofitable money line and look to the spread for a greater profit.
Against the spread (?)
The PACKERS -6.5 (-110) have won each of their three games by at least 7 points. The Falcons (+6.5, -110) built large leads the last two weeks but won’t be able to do the same against the highly-efficient Packers attack.
The Packers have the better ground game and will be able to simply run out the clock once establishing a large lead.
Over/Under (?)
The Packers won’t have Adams but Jones and Ridley are both expected to play for the Falcons. Both teams are similarly injury-riddled on the defensive side and there’s more offensive depth.
Take the OVER 56.5 (-110) with Rodgers and the Packers leading the way and Ryan and the Falcons keeping pace until late in the game.
