CBS early games

506 Sports

CBS has three early games. The biggest coverage, which will be televised in the pink areas is Rams-Jets. The blue areas will see Browns-Bengals and the gree areas will have Titans-Colts. Because the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears have home games that will air on FOX at the same time, those teams elected to use the blackout so that local fans can only see their team play.

CBS late games

506 Sports

In the 4:25 p.m. ET time slot, CBS has three games. The largest coverage, showing in blue, is Patriots-Bills. The pink areas have 49ers-Dolphins, while the green areas get Jaguars-Raiders.

FOX single game

FOX has four early games at 1 p.m. ET. The pink areas can watch Eagles-Commanders. Lions-bears can be seen in the blue areas. The yellow areas get Giants-Falcons, while Cardinals-Panthers will be televised in the orange areas.

The one late game, kicking off at 4:05 p.m., is Vikings-Seahawks, which will have coverage in the green areas.

Cardinals-Bears to air in a few extra TV markets in Week 9

Check out where the Cardinals’ Week 9 home game against the Bears will air around the US.

The Arizona Cardinals will kick off Sunday afternoon at State Farm Stadium in Week 9 against the Chicago Bears at 4:05 p.m. ET, which, because of the change from Daylight Savings, will be 2:05 p.m. Arizona time.

The game will air on CBS. It won’t get large national coverage, but the TV coverage will be a little more than just the Cardinals’ and Bears’ home markets.

506 Sports’ TV coverage maps show a few other team markets can watch the Cardinals and Bears play.

506 Sports

The Cardinals-Bears game will air locally on CBS in the areas in blue.

Both the Cardinals’ and Bears’ designated home markets get it (notice that the Cardinals’ home market includes a small area of California just to the west of Yuma and excludes a strip of the northeast corner).

But, as you can see, the local areas for the Las Vegas Raiders, Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots will also have the Cardinals-Bears game as their late afternoon game.

Where will Cardinals-Packers air in Week 6?

Check out the TV coverage map to see where the Cardinals-Packers game will air around the US.

The Arizona Cardinals will have a widely broadcast game for the second week in a row. After getting large national coverage on FOX in their Week 5 game against the San Francisco 49ers, much of the US will be able to watch the Cardinals on the road against the Green By Packers.

According to 506 Sports, the Cardinals will get the largest coverage from FOX of the three 1 p.m. ET games they will air.

Check out the graphic:

506 Sports

FOX’s three early games are Cardinals-Packers, Browns-Eagles and Buccaneers-Saints.

The Cardinals’ game will air in all the pink areas in the above graphic, covering roughly 2/3 of the country. Kevin Kugler and Daryl Johnston will call the game.

Of course, this is more about the interest in the Packers, who have large national support.

However, as they did against the 49ers last week, upsetting them on the road, the Cardinals have another opportunity to impress in front of a largely national television audience.

If they do that, they just might get bigger TV audiences against other teams later in the season.

Cardinals-49ers to get good TV coverage nationally

he Cardinals-49ers matchup will air in many parts of the US this weekend.

The Arizona Cardinals do not typically get much national television coverage. Typically, whether on CBS or on FOX, their games air only in their own and their opponent’s home television market.

That will change this week against the San Francisco 49ers.

The game will air on FOX, which will only have one broadcast in every market this week, but this game drew their top broadest team of Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady.

506 Sports released the TV coverage maps for Week 5 and, despite FOX only getting one broadcast in every market, the game will get wide coverage.

Check out the graphic from the site:

The Cardinals-49ers game will air in all the areas in pink. It will air in most of the West, parts of Texas, much of the South and then in the Tampa Bay, Baltimore and Buffalo home markets.

This is not out of the ordinary for the 49ers, as they are a well-known team with a national fanbase and an expected Super Bowl contender in the NFL this year.

Despite the Cardinals being big underdogs this weekend — the biggest underdogs in the league this week — on a somewhat national stage, they have an opportunity to show the country they are not one of the league’s worst teams.

Will they show up on a bigger stage and impress? Or will they be embarrassed by a division rival?

That we will see on Sunday afternoon.
