Which bets should you make for the Denver Broncos in the 2020 NFL season? We look at BetMGM‘s wagers offered for the Broncos in 2020, including AFC West Division finish, player prop bets, playoff bets and more.
The Broncos have plenty of things working in their favor for 2020.
- They drafted talented rookie WR Jerry Jeudy and signed RB Melvin Gordon to join playmaking WR Courtland Sutton.
- They get pass-rusher Bradley Chubb back after he missed 12 games with a torn ACL last season; he’ll form a fine QB pressure duo with LB Von Miller.
- Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur’s arrival should aid the development of QB Drew Lock, on whom Denver’s potential this year may single-handedly rely.
- The defense has rising stars in FS Justin Simmons (great pairing with SS Kareem Jackson) and LB Alexander Johnson to help carry coach Vic Fangio’s system.
While Denver may not be one of the heavy favorites to compete for the 2020 Vince Lombardi Trophy, it can still pay off on some best bets for the team finish and player performance.

In the AFC West Division, BET 1ST PLACE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS/2ND PLACE DENVER BRONCOS (+225). Assuming (justifiably) that the Chiefs repeat as division champions, Denver still has a strong path for second place. The Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers have questionable quarterback play.
This option is a better way to cash in on Broncos’ optimism than betting “Make the playoffs: Yes (+165)” and “Over 7.5 wins (-139),” but watch for changes as the preseason winds down.
More Broncos’ options:
- AFC West finish: 2nd Place (+220)
- Exact finish: Chiefs/Broncos/Chargers/Raiders (+400)
- Exact finish: Chiefs/Broncos/Raiders/Chargers (+625)

NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year
BET WR JERRY JEUDY (+1400). The star Alabama alum is a logical top-five option for this wager, considering the immediate opportunity into which he’s landing and his polished skill set (including a 4.46 40-yard dash). Shurmur loves three- and four-wide sets, meaning Jeudy should get plenty of targets alongside Sutton.
First regular-season win
BET WEEK 4: AT NEW YORK JETS (+1100)
The Broncos start the season with a tough trio (vs. Tennessee Titans, at Pittsburgh Steelers and vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers), but if you want to short Denver early on, it could pay.
A road trip to the Jets could be tricky, but their offensive line is ripe for any competent-to-great pass rush – which the Broncos have – and Denver’s offense should be in control.
WATCH Week 3: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+700)
Tom Brady’s unfortunate history at Mile High could make this a sneaky pick – though BetMGM doesn’t book it that way – and the Bucs look like an improved squad. If the money more strongly shifts toward the Buccaneers, juicing this up to, say, +800, play contrarian.

NFL Defensive Player of the Year
BET DE BRADLEY CHUBB (+4000). You could also go with teammate and pass-rush partner Von Miller (+1800), but the younger defensive end could pay bigger. Chubb had 12 sacks in 2018 and remains a logical reach bet for any Broncos fan.

Broncos’ NFL 2020 futures
- AFC Conference winner (+2500)
- AFC No. 1 seed (+3000)
- Super Bowl winner (+5000)
PASS. Please. I mean, you could, but I wouldn’t back any of these unless the wager comes from surplus money and you want to make a homer bet.
