SportsbookWire’s NFL Week 12 picks: ML, ATS and O/U predictions for all games

The SportsbookWire staff makes their NFL Week 12 picks and predictions for moneylines, spreads and totals.

Before looking at SportsbookWire staff’s Week 12 NFL picks, here are the against-the-spread (ATS) and Over/Under (O/U) leaders, according to Teamrankings.com.

At 8-2 ATS each, the Detroit Lions (9-1 straight up) and Pittsburgh Steelers (8-2) remain the top NFL teams to bet on when it comes to the spread.

They both covered as home teams in Week 11. Detroit, a 14-point favorite, smoked the Jacksonville Jaguars 52-6, while Pittsburgh upset the Baltimore Ravens 18-16 as a 3-point underdog.

The Steelers visit the rival Cleveland Browns (2-8 SU, 3-7 ATS) Thursday for an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, while the Lions will play at the Indianapolis Colts (5-6, 8-3) Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. BetMGM Sportsbook lists the Steelers as 3.5-point favorites and the Lions as 7.5-point favorites as of Thursday at 9:07 a.m. ET.

Joining the Colts at 8-3 ATS are the Denver Broncos (6-5 SU).

At 1-9 ATS, the Tennessee Titans (2-8) remain the top team to fade — best against — just ahead of the Dallas Cowboys (3-7) at 2-8 ATS and the New York Jets (3-8) at 3-8 ATS.

The Titans are listed as 8-point dogs at the Houston Texans (7-4, 5-5-1) Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Even though the Ravens played an Under game vs. the Steelers last Sunday, Baltimore is still the top Over team at 9-2. The Cincinnati Bengals (4-7) are 8-3 O/U, while the Carolina Panthers (3-7), Las Vegas Raiders (2-8) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6) are each 7-3 O/U.

The top Under team is still Houston at 3-8 O/U; the Chicago Bears (4-6), LA Chargers (7-3), Minnesota Vikings (8-2) and New York Giants (2-8) are each 3-7 O/U.

Six teams have byes this week. They are the Atlanta Falcons (6-5, 5-6), Buffalo Bills (9-2, 7-4) Bengals (6-5 ATS), Jaguars (2-9, 6-5), New Orleans Saints (4-7, 5-6) and Jets.

SportsbookWire’s NFL Week 11 picks: ML, ATS and O/U predictions for all games

The SportsbookWire staff makes their NFL Week 11 picks and predictions for moneylines, spreads and totals.

Before looking at SportsbookWire staff’s Week 11 NFL picks, here are the against-the-spread (ATS) and Over/Under (O/U) leaders, according to Teamrankings.com.

The Detroit Lions (8-1 straight up) and Pittsburgh Steelers (7-2) share the best ATS records in the NFL at 7-2 apiece. The Washington Commanders (7-3) are 7-2-1 ATS.

As of Thursday at 8:17 a.m. ET, the Lions are 14-point home favorites — per BetMGM Sportsbook — vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-8 SU, 6-4 ATS). The Steelers are 3-point home underdogs in a key AFC North showdown against the Baltimore Ravens (7-3 SU, 5-4-1 ATS). Both games are Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Three teams are 7-3 ATS. They are the Arizona Cardinals (6-4), Denver Broncos (5-5) and Indianapolis Colts (4-6). At one point, the Colts had the NFL’s best ATS record at 7-1, but they failed to cover their last 2 games.

The Tennessee Titans (2-7) are still the top team to best against — fade — with a 1-8 ATS mark after losing 27-17 as 8-point road underdogs to the LA Chargers (6-3 both SU and ATS) last Sunday.

The Titans are getting 6 points when they host the Minnesota Vikings (7-2 SU, 6-3 ATS) Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Two other teams struggling against the spread are the Dallas Cowboys (3-6) at 2-7 ATS and the Seattle Seahawks (4-5) at 2-6-1 ATS.

The Ravens remained the best Over team at 9-1, while 4 teams — the Carolina Panthers (3-7), Cincinnati Bengals (4-6), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6) and Washington — are 7-3 O/U. The 2-7 Las Vegas Raiders are 6-3 O/U.

Meanwhile, the Houston Texans (6-4) are the top Under team at 2-8 O/U, while the Chargers are 2-7 O/U. Something will have to give when the Chargers host the Bengals on Sunday Night Football where the O/U line is 47.5 (per BetMGM Sportsbook as of Thursday at 8:19 a.m. ET).

Four teams have byes this week — Arizona, Carolina, the New York Giants (2-8 SU, 3-7 ATS) and Tampa Bay.

At 7-1 ATS, the Detroit Lions (7-1 straight up) feature the NFL’s top ATS record heading into Week 10. They play at the Houston Texans (6-3 SU, 3-5-1 ATS) in the Sunday Night Football game (8:20 p.m. ET / NBC). As of Thursday at 7:31 a.m. ET, BetMGM Sportsbook lists Detroit as 3.5-point favorites.

The Washington Commanders have the next best ATS record at 7-1-1, while the Indianapolis Colts are 7-2 ATS.

On the other side of the spectrum are the Tennessee Titans, who have been the top team to fade — bet against — at 1-7 ATS. Not far behind are the Carolina Panthers (2-7 ATS), the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins (both 2-6 ATS) and the Seattle Seahawks (2-6-1 ATS).

SportsbookWire’s NFL Week 9 picks: ML, ATS and O/U predictions for all games

The SportsbookWire staff makes their NFL Week 9 picks and predictions for moneylines, spreads and totals.

Before looking at SportsbookWire staff’s Week 9 NFL picks, here are the against-the-spread (ATS) and Over/Under (O/U) leaders, according to Teamrankings.com.

The Indianapolis Colts improved their NFL-best ATS record to 7-1 despite losing 23-20 at the Houston Texans in Week 8. The key was that the Colts covered the spread as 4.5-point underdogs.

Next on the ATS leaderboard are the Detroit Lions at 6-1 ATS and the Washington Commanders at 6-1-1 ATS.

The Colts visit the Minnesota Vikings in the Week 9 Sunday night game — at 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC/Peacock). The Vikings were the top ATS team through the first 5 weeks, covering in each of their first 5 games. But after a bye in Week 6, they dropped their next 2 games — both as small favorites. The Vikes lost 31-29 as 1-point home favorites vs. the rival Lions in Week 7 and fell 30-20 as 2.5-point favorites in the Week 8 Thursday night game at the LA Rams.

As of Wednesday at 11:53 p.m. ET, BetMGM Sportsbook lists NFL odds for the Indy-Minnesota showdown as:

  • Colts +5.5 (-115) | Vikings -5.5 (-105).

The Carolina Panthers remain the top team to fade — bet against — as they fell to 1-7 ATS after a 28-6 loss at the LA Chargers Sunday. Getting 7.5 points wasn’t close enough for the underdog Panthers.

The Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans are next at 1-6 ATS each.

As for totals, the Baltimore Ravens improved their league-leading Over record to 7-1 following a 29-24 loss at the Cleveland Browns in Week 8 with an O/U line of 45.

Carolina and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t far behind with identical Over records of 6-2, while the Dallas Cowboys are 5-2 O/U.

The Chargers are the best Under team at 1-6, just ahead of the Texans and New York Giants, who are each 2-6 O/U. The Dolphins are 2-5 O/U.

On to Week 9 where the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers have byes.

Before looking at SportsbookWire staff’s Week 8 NFL picks, here are the against-the-spread (ATS) and Over/Under (O/U) leaders, according to Teamrankings.com.

With the Minnesota Vikings losing at home 31-29 as a 1-point favorite to the Detroit Lions in Week 7, there are no more NFL teams perfect against the spread.

The Indianapolis Colts have the best ATS record at 6-1, followed by the Vikings, Lions and Kansas City Chiefs — each 5-1 ATS. The Washington Commanders are 5-1-1 ATS, while the Chicago Bears are 4-1-1 ATS — the Bears visit the Commanders Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS).

As of Thursday at 12:41 p.m. ET, BetMGM Sportsbook lists NFL odds of:

  • Bears -2.5 (-115) | Commanders +2.5 (-105).

As for totals, the Baltimore Ravens boast a 6-1 Over record, best in the NFL. Five teams are 5-2 O/U. They are the Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Commanders.

The New York Giants have the best Under record at 6-1, while the Under is 5-1 for both the LA Chargers and Dolphins.

There are no byes this week!

SportsbookWire’s NFL Week 7 picks: ML, ATS and O/U predictions for all games

The SportsbookWire staff makes their NFL Week 7 picks and predictions for moneylines, spreads and totals.

Before looking at SportsbookWire staff’s Week 7 NFL picks, here are the against-the-spread (ATS) and Over/Under (O/U) leaders, according to Teamrankings.com.

The Minnesota Vikings (5-0 straight up), who had a bye last week, are the only NFL team perfect against the spread at 5-0. They host the Detroit Lions (4-1 SU, 4-1 ATS) Sunday at 1 p.m. ET (FOX). As of Thursday at 9:38 a.m. ET, BetMGM Sportsbook lists NFL odds of Vikings -1.5 (-110).

The Indianapolis Colts are 5-1 ATS, while the Kansas City Chiefs join the Lions at 4-1 ATS. The Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders are each 4-1-1 ATS.

Teams worth betting against? The Carolina Panthers are 1-5 ATS. The LA Rams, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans are each 1-4 ATS, while the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are each 1-4-1 ATS.

Looking at totals, no team has a perfect Over or Under record. The LA Chargers started the season 0-4 O/U, but they cashed an Over ticket last week with a 23-16 win at Denver with an O/U line of 37.

The New York Giants are now the best Under team at 5-1, while the Chargers are joined by the Dolphins and Vikings at 4-1 to the Under.

Four teams are 5-1 to the Over. They are the Baltimore Ravens, Panthers, Seahawks and Commanders.

The Bears and Dallas Cowboys are the 2 teams with byes this week.

SportsbookWire’s NFL Week 6 picks: ML, ATS and O/U predictions for all games

The SportsbookWire staff makes their NFL Week 6 picks and predictions for moneylines, spreads and totals.

Before looking at SportsbookWire staff’s Week 6 NFL picks, here are the against-the-spread (ATS) and Over/Under (O/U) leaders, according to Teamrankings.com.

At 5-0 ATS, the Minnesota Vikings — 5-0 straight-up, too — are the only NFL team perfect against the spread. In Week 5, they covered as 2.5-point favorites behind a 23-17 win vs. the New York Jets in London. With a Week 6 bye, the perfect ATS record will stay intact at least for another week.

Four teams are 4-1 ATS. They are the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Commanders. The Chicago Bears are 3-1-1 ATS and the Detroit Lions are 3-1 ATS.

On the flip side, the Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, LA Rams and Miami Dolphins are each 1-4 ATS. The Tennessee Titans are 1-3 ATS, while the Houston Texans, New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are each 1-3-1 ATS.

Houston visits New England Sunday at 1 p.m. ET (CBS). As of Thursday, 1:48 p.m. ET, Houston is the 2nd-biggest favorite on the Week 6 schedule, listed at -7 (-105) by BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds. The Browns are 9.5-point underdogs to the Philadelphia Eagles.

When it comes to totals, the LA Chargers are 0-4 O/U. Houston, Miami, Minnesota, the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers are each 1-4 O/U, while the Jets are 1-3-1 O/U and the Lions are 1-3 O/U.

Five teams have been solid Over plays at 4-1 O/U. They are the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina, Cincinnati Bengals, Seattle and Washington.

Joining Minnesota on a bye week are Kansas City, the Rams and Miami.

SportsbookWire’s NFL Week 5 picks: ML, ATS and O/U predictions for all games

The SportsbookWire staff makes their NFL Week 5 picks and predictions for moneylines, spreads and totals.

Before looking at SportsbookWire staff’s Week 5 NFL picks, here are the against-the-spread (ATS) and Over/Under (O/U) leaders, according to Teamrankings.com.

The Minnesota Vikings (4-0 straight up) are the only team still perfect ATS heading into Week 5. They improved to 4-0 ATS with a 31-29 win as 2.5-point underdogs at the Green Bay Packers in Week 4. The Vikings will put their perfect ATS mark on the line Sunday when they face the New York Jets (2-2 SU, 2-2 ATS) in London at 9:30 a.m. ET (NFL Network).

Minnesota is a 2.5-point favorite (-110), per BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds — last updated Thursday at 5:57 p.m. ET.

Two teams haven’t covered the spread in a game yet. They are the Miami Dolphins (0-4 ATS) and the Houston Texans (0-3-1 ATS). The Dolphins visit the New England Patriots (1-2-1 ATS) in a battle of 1-3 SU teams Sunday, while the Texans host the Buffalo Bills (2-2 ATS) in a Sunday matchup of 3-1 SU teams.

As for totals, there are no more perfect Over teams. The Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys were both 3-0 O/U after Week 3, but they cashed Under tickets last week. Heading into Week 4, they are 2 of 10 teams with 3-1 O/U records, joined by the Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers, LA Rams, New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders.

Eight teams were 3-0 to the Under before Week 3 action, but only 2 continued their low total run, as the LA Chargers and New York Giants improved to 4-0 to the Under last week. The Chargers have a bye this week, while the Giants visit the Seahawks (3-1 O/U) Sunday.

Now to Week 5.
