Giants QB Daniel Jones over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+180)

No one is expecting this game between the Giants and Buccaneers to be close on Monday Night Football and that could lead to a ton of garbage time stats for QB Daniel Jones. Could he throw multiple touchdowns in this game, even if they are down by a ton early? Sure. At +180, it’s not a bad bet as Jones is willing to take chances down the field with his receivers. Expect at least one score to come late in the game, but for the over to hit here for New York.

Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones under 74.5 yards from scrimmage (-115)

With RB Leonard Fournette back in the lineup after his injury, RB Ronald Jones is no longer the team’s workhorse back. Sure, he might be the team’s starter, but head coach Bruce Arians wants to rotate his backs to keep them fresh. Look for Jones to see 12-15 touches in this game, but to ultimately come under the 74.5 yards set for him.

Buccaneers WR Scotty Miller over 46.5 receiving yards (-115)

Without WR Chris Godwin in the lineup for this game, WR Scott Miller becomes the team’s de facto No. 2 receiver. He clearly has a strong chemistry with QB Tom Brady and they aren’t afraid to challenge defenses vertically. Look for Miller to see seven or eight targets in this game and easily clear the 46.5 receiving yardage total set for him.

Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski to score and Bucs win (+120)

If you believe the Buccaneers are going to win this week but there just isn’t enough value on the moneyline, take Rob Gronkowski to score and Tampa Bay to win. At +120, this bet is really an anytime bet on “Gronk” to get into the end zone. Considering that Godwin will not be available in this game, Gronkowski is a good bet to see a few end zone targets in Week 8.

Giants WR Sterling Shepard to score first New York TD (+700)

WR Sterling Shepard is arguably the Giants’ best weapon and they will look to use him a ton in the slot in this game. At +700, Shepard is a good bet to score the first touchdown of the game for the Giants, should they score at all against one of the league’s best defenses.

NFL Prop Bets Payday: Bank on these 5 New York Giants MNF prop bet predictions

Highlighting five New York Giants prop bet predictions ahead of their Week 8 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.

The New York Giants (1-6) host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2) at MetLife Stadium for an 8:15 p.m. ET Monday Night Football kickoff on what’s expected to be a chilly night in East Rutherford, NJ. Below, we give you five prop bet predictions to consider for the Giants in their Week 8 matchup from the BetMGM game menu.

RB Dion Lewis OVER 25.5 yards from scrimmage (-115)

Giants RB Devonta Freeman (ankle) is out for Monday Night Football, leaving Lewis and Wayne Gallman to split backfield work. Lewis is projected for 12.5 rushing yards and 9.5 receiving yards for a total of 22.

He set a season-high of 23 rushing yards last week and had a high of 36 receiving yards in Week 2. Look for increased usage Monday to allow him to approach both of those totals, especially in a matchup likely to force the Giants to pass for much of the game.

QB Daniel Jones OVER 26.5 rushing yards (-110)

Jones will also help make up for the absence of Freeman with his legs. The sophomore QB has topped 45 rushing yards in four of seven games this season. He’ll be forced from the pocket quite often by a Buccaneers defense with 25 sacks through seven games.

WR Sterling Shepard OVER 3.5 receptions (-167)

Shepard returned from injury last week to catch 6 of 8 targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in his third game of the season. He led the Giants in yards and shared the team reception lead with TE Evan Engram despite being targeted one less time. With Jones projected for 19.5 pass completions, Shepard should come down with 20% of those as the new No. 1 option.

WR Darius Slayton’s longest reception UNDER 20.5 yards (-110)

The Bucs have allowed just 19 pass plays of 20-plus yards through seven games. With Tampa Bay favored by 13 points, it should be able to sit back and play prevent defense for a large portion of the second half and keep Slayton from breaking a big catch-and-run.

First touchdown scorer: Jones (+1400)

Jones has already topped his rookie rushing total with 296 yards on the ground through seven games. Despite an 80-yard run last week, he has been kept out of the end zone all season. Expect him to call his own number near the goal line Monday night for a little bit of redemption on his failure to score in Week 7.
