NFL Prop Bets Payday: 5 Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers predictions for MNF

Highlighting five Monday Night Football prop bet predictions with the Los Angeles Rams taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-3) and Los Angeles Rams (6-3) meet at Raymond James Stadium on Monday Night Football in a key battle for seeding near the top of the NFC. The Bucs and Rams enter MNF second in the NFC South and West, respectively. Below, we give you five prop bet predictions to consider for the Rams-Buccaneers MNF matchup from the BetMGM game menu.

Rams at Buccaneers: Prop bets to make for Monday Night Football

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 10:10 a.m. ET.

Rams QB Jared Goff OVER 25.5 pass completions (+105)

Goff is averaging 35.67 pass attempts per game and he’s projected to top that number Monday with an Over/Under on passing attempts of 38.5 at BetMGM with the Rams listed as 4.5-point underdogs on the road.

The extra attempts will result in more completions, as he’s completing 66.4% of his passes on the season. This Over is more profitable at plus-money than the Over on attempts at -110.

Rams RB Cam Akers OVER 23.5 rushing+receiving yards (-115)

Akers, a second-round rookie, has a total of 19 carries and one reception in two games since returning from injury. He has averaged under 4.0 yards per carry in those two games, but we’re siding with the increasing touches to allow him to top a modest projection on yards from scrimmage.

Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski OVER 3.5 receptions (+140)

The Over is priced very intriguingly on Gronk’s receptions line after he totaled just three catches in his last two games. He had at least four in each of his previous three games, and he was targeted six times in the Bucs’ ugly Week 9 loss against the New Orleans Saints.

The Rams give up an average of 8.4 targets per game to opposing tight ends. Gronkowski has a catch rate of 59.2% for the season and will be able to exploit L.A.’s weakness over the middle.

Buccaneers QB Tom Brady to score a touchdown (+600)

Brady, 43, has three rushing touchdowns on the season and is one back of matching a career-high set in 2012. The Rams have given up three rushing touchdowns to opposing QBs this season and allowed Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson to run for 60 yards in Week 10. Brady isn’t a threat for yards, but he could certainly call his own number once again near the goal line.

Special Week 11 NFL Betting Promotion

Bet $1 on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers money line, WIN $100 (in free bets) if Buccaneers QB Tom Brady throws a touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 11. Place your legal, online sports wagers in CO, IN, NJ, TN and WV at BetMGM, The King of Sportsbooks.

Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones II OVER 13.5 rushing attempts (+105)

Jones resurfaced from a couple of quiet outings in Weeks 8 and 9 to run 23 times for a season-high 192 yards and a touchdown in Week 10. The game script doesn’t project as favorably as the Bucs’ 46-23 win over the Carolina Panthers last week, but he solidified his role as the lead back and can help run the clock against a Rams defense ranked 12th by Football Outsiders‘ rush DVOA.

NFL Prop Bets Payday: 5 Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears predictions for MNF

Highlighting five prop bet predictions as the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears meet on Monday Night Football.

The Week 10 Monday Night Football game features an all-NFC North clash with the Minnesota Vikings (3-5) visiting the Chicago Bears (5-4) at Soldier Field. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET; the Vikings go for a third straight win, while the Bears hope to avoid a fourth straight loss. Below, we give you five prop bet predictions to consider for the Vikings-Bears MNF matchup from the BetMGM game menu.

Vikings at Bears: Prop bets to make for Monday Night Football

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 11 a.m. ET.

Bears QB Nick Foles UNDER 1.5 passing touchdowns (+105)

This game features a low point total of just 43.5 with the Bears having an implied team total of 20.0. That’s a number they’ve topped in only two of their last six games. Foles has thrown two touchdowns in back-to-back games for the first time all season, but a low-scoring divisional game should see him held to a single passing score.

Bears’ 1st touchdown scorer: Foles (+2800)

The Bears’ backfield is a mess. RB Tarik Cohen is already on the Reserve/Injured list and RB David Montgomery (concussion) was ruled out of this game Saturday. Bears head coach Matt Nagy is more likely to trust Foles with the ball near the goal line than he is to trust RB Ryan Nall, who has just two career carries.

Foles already has one rushing score this season and is a good long-shot bet if he can get his team down to the goal line. This prop is another reason for taking the Under on Foles’ passing touchdowns.

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook OVER 86.5 rushing yards (-115)

Cook has been held below 130 rushing yards just once in his last five games and has added a total of 109 receiving yards over his last two outings. This line is tamped down after the Bears held Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry to just 68 total yards last week, but Cook is more essential to his team’s offense right now. He’ll be force-fed the ball as the Vikings try to control the clock in what’s expected to be a low-scoring game.

Cook’s longest reception OVER 10.5 yards (-118)

The Bears defend opposing running backs well in the passing game, allowing just 33.2 receiving yards per game to RBs. Cook’s better than most, however, and can be used to run deeper routes on the outside. With WRs Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson taking the top off the defense, look for Cook to get past the linebackers with a modest catch-and-run of 11 or more yards.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson OVER 57.5 receiving yards (-106)

Jefferson comes into Week 10 having been held below 100 receiving yards in back-to-back games. As mentioned above, the Bears held Henry to 68 rushing yards last week but allowed Titans WR A.J. Brown to go for 101 yards and a touchdown, including a 40-yard reception. With the defense heavily focused on Cook, Jefferson should have success with a couple of deep catches.
