Count on these 5 fantasy football sleepers for Week 4

Highlighting 5 fantasy football sleepers to help you win your Week 4 matchup.

Fantasy football roster managers were dealt a serious blow Thursday with the announced postponement of the Tennessee Titans-Pittsburgh Steelers Week 4 game. The two teams will make up the game at a yet to be announced date later in the season, but stars like Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster and Titans RB Derrick Henry will need to be replaced this week on fantasy rosters.

These Week 4 absences come on top of the rash of injuries that have piled up across the NFL through the first three weeks. To help you fill the likely holes in your roster, we have five fantasy football sleepers for you to use in Week 4.

Fantasy football Week 4 sleepers

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (vs. SEA)

Fitzpatrick is widely known around the NFL – because he has played for a quarter of the league – but his 2020 season is going overlooked. After throwing for just 191 yards and three interceptions against the New England Patriots in Week 1, he has completed 73% of his passes for 488 yards and four touchdowns with another score on the ground in the last two games.

He and the Dolphins are at home in Week 4, hosting a Seattle Seahawks team allowing a league-high 430.7 passing yards per game. The Seahawks are favored to win by 6.5 points on the NFL betting lines, so the expectation is for a pass-heavy day for the Dolphins offense.

Las Vegas Raiders WR Hunter Renfrow (vs. BUF)

The Raiders are expected to be without top receivers Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards for their Week 4 date with the Buffalo Bills at Allegiant Stadium.

Renfrow will be elevated to the No. 2 option in the passing game behind TE Darren Waller and should see plenty of targets as the Raiders run short passing routes to avoid the Bills’ top-flight secondary.

Miami Dolphins WR Preston Williams (vs. SEA)

Williams can be played in combination with Fitzpatrick or on his own. The undrafted second-year receiver scored his first touchdown of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week despite being targeted just twice.

He has renewed the faith of his QB and coaching staff and should see a large uptick in work against the porous Seattle defense.

Green Bay Packers TE Robert Tonyan (vs. ATL)

The tight end position is one of the most streamable in all of fantasy football. The Falcons gave up two touchdowns to Chicago Bears TE Jimmy Graham in Week 3 and are allowing the second-most standard fantasy points per game to TEs this season.

Tonyan has seven catches for 75 yards and two touchdowns and should again find his way into the end zone in another soft matchup after playing the New Orleans Saints last Monday night.

San Francisco 49ers RB Jeff Wilson (vs. PHI)

Niners RB Jerick McKinnon (ribs) practiced in full Wednesday and appears to have avoided serious injury. Still, with RBs Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman already sidelined by injury, McKinnon’s unlikely to have a full workload in a Sunday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Wilson should be able to get plenty of late, garbage-time work in a game in which the 49ers are favored to win by 7 points.
