Usually, when January comes around the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots are both still playing football.
It wasn’t the case for the Patriots this season after Tom Brady’s departure but the Packers again made it to the NFC Championship Game under the direction of quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Now might a former Notre Dame star be headed to one of those locations?
Former Fighting Irish defensive end Daelin Hayes met with both Green Bay and New England earlier this week and has meetings scheduled with at least five other teams as well.

He has 5+ more meetings coming up soon. Hayes was excellent at the Senior Bowl. #NFLDraft

Hayes was a captain for Notre Dame in 2020 after missing the majority of the 2019 season after tearing his labrum.
He recorded six tackles for loss in 2020 as well as three sacks, a pair of forced fumbles, and an interception while earning All-ACC honorable mention honors.
