Baltimore Ravens at Philadelphia Eagles odds, picks and best bets

Previewing the Baltimore Ravens at Philadelphia Eagles Week 6 betting odds and lines, with NFL betting picks, tips and best bets.

The Baltimore Ravens (4-1) are headed on the road in Week 6 to take on the Philadelphia Eagles (1-3-1). Kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field will be at 1 p.m. ET Sunday afternoon. Below, we preview the Ravens-Eagles Week 6 betting odds and lines and make our NFL picks and best bets.

Ravens at Eagles betting odds and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Friday at 3:10 p.m. ET.

  • Money line: Ravens -371 (bet $371, win $100) | Eagles +290 (bet $100, win $290)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Ravens -7.5 (-110) | Eagles +7.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: 47.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

Special NFL Week 6 Betting Promotion:

Bet $1 on any team’s money line Sunday, WIN $100 (in free bets) if any team scores a touchdown during Sunday’s action. Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, NJ and WV at BetMGM, The King of Sportsbooks!

Terms and conditions apply. Bet now!

Ravens at Eagles game notes

  • The Ravens are 3-1-1 ATS this season, while the Eagles are an unimpressive 1-4. Dating back to last season, Baltimore is 12-3-1 ATS in its last 16 games.
  • Baltimore is ninth in points per game scored (29.8) and third in rushing yards per game (160.8), but it ranks just 31st in passing yards per game (178.8) through five games.
  • No team has allowed fewer points this season than the Ravens, who also rank fifth in rushing yards allowed. Philadelphia is 23rd in scoring defense.
  • The total has gone Over in three of the Eagles’ five games this season, but only one game for the Ravens has seen the Over come in.
  • All of the Ravens’ wins have been by at least 14 points, scoring at least 27 in each one.

Ravens at Eagles key injuries

Ravens

  • CB Marcus Peters (thigh) probable
  • CB Jimmy Smith (knee) probable
  • OT Ronnie Stanley (shoulder) probable

Eagles

  • WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring) out
  • WR Alshon Jeffery (foot) out
  • CB Darius Slay (concussion) questionable
  • OT Lane Johnson (ankle) out

Ravens at Eagles: Odds, betting lines, picks and prediction

Prediction

Ravens 27, Eagles 17

Money line (?)

Though all four of the Ravens’ wins have come by at least two touchdowns, there have been some reasons for concern in recent weeks with the offense slumping a bit – specifically QB Lamar Jackson, but this is a vulnerable Eagles team that has underperformed all year and the Ravens should be able to capitalize.

Baltimore will win this one outright, and even though the reward may not be worth the risk on this money line, I’m going with the RAVENS (-371) in Week 6.

Against the spread (?)

The Ravens are favored by more than a touchdown and they’ve been very good covering spreads this season. As previously mentioned, when they win, they win big – especially against bad teams.

They’ll win this game by double-digits on the road, getting the offense back on track. Look for Jackson to have a big game running the ball, keeping Philadelphia off-balance defensively. Take the RAVENS -7.5 (-110).

Over/Under (?)

The Over/Under is 47.5, which is surprisingly on the lower side considering the caliber of talent Baltimore has on offense. It’s likely the result of Philadelphia lacking explosiveness on offense.

I’m taking the OVER 47.5 (-110) in this Week 6 matchup with the Eagles scoring enough points to put the total over 47.5 in garbage time.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers odds, picks and best bets

Previewing the Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers Week 6 betting odds and lines, with NFL betting picks, tips and best bets.

The Los Angeles Rams (4-1) will try to extend their winning streak to three games when they take on the San Francisco 49ers (2-3) on Sunday Night Football in Week 6. The game will be held at Levi’s Stadium with kickoff set for 8:20 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the Rams-49ers Week 6 betting odds and lines and make our NFL picks and best bets.

Rams at 49ers betting odds and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Friday at 1:06 p.m. ET.

  • Money line: Rams -162 (bet $162, win $100) | 49ers +140 (bet $100, win $140)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Rams -3 (-110) | 49ers +3 (-110)
  • Over/Under: 51.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

Special Sunday Night Football Betting Promotion:

Bet $1 on either the Los Angeles Rams or San Francisco 49ers money line, WIN $100 (in free bets) if either team scores a touchdown during their Week 6 matchup. Place your legal, online sports wagers in CO, IN, NJ and WV at BetMGM, The King of Sportsbooks.

Terms and conditions apply. Bet now!

Rams at 49ers game notes

  • Rams and 49ers have split the series 3-3 since Sean McVay took over as head coach of the Rams in 2017. The 49ers won both head-to-head meetings last season.
  • The Rams are tied for the league lead with 20 sacks, while the 49ers have allowed the fourth-most sacks in the NFL.
  • Rams QB Jared Goff is 2-1 in his career at Levi’s Stadium with 7 touchdowns and one interception.
  • The Rams are 8-5 in primetime games since 2017, while the 49ers are 6-5 in the same span.
  • The total has gone Under in three of the Rams’ five games this season but in only two of San Francisco’s first five games.

Rams at 49ers key injuries

Rams

  • OLB Ogbonnia Okoronkwo (elbow) out
  • FS Jordan Fuller (shoulder) IR
  • ILB Micah Kiser (groin) probable

49ers

  • LB Kwon Alexander (ankle) questionable
  • QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) probable
  • CB Dontae Johnson (groin) questionable

Rams at 49ers: Odds, betting lines, picks and prediction

Prediction

Rams 30, 49ers 23

Money line (?)

The Rams look really good on the money line in this one at only -162. It’s not even money, but this is certainly a game the Rams should win outright. The 49ers have been ravaged by injuries and have questions at quarterback. Meanwhile, the Rams defense is coming off its best performance of the season.

Take the RAMS (-162) to win straight up Sunday night, keeping their winning streak going.

Against the spread (?)

As 3-point favorites, the oddsmakers aren’t too high on the Rams. Three points really aren’t much for them to cover, and in each of their four wins so far, all have been by three or more points.

The Rams are 3-2 ATS this season, including 2-1 on the road. The 49ers are 0-3 ATS at home this year, further making this a favorable matchup for L.A. Take the RAMS -3 (-110) to cover.

Over/Under (?)

The Over/Under is a little tougher to predict because of the volatility that comes with the 49ers offense. They scored 31 and 36 points against the New York Jets and New York Giants, respectively, but haven’t topped 20 points in any of their other three games.

The Rams have been consistent offensively, scoring 30 points in three of their five games, and against San Francisco’s vulnerable defense, they could do so again. Bet the OVER 51.5 (-110) in this matchup.

Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings odds, picks and best bets

Previewing the Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings Week 6 betting odds and lines, with NFL betting picks, tips and best bets.

The Atlanta Falcons (0-5), who were locked out of their facility this week due to positive COVID-19 tests, look for their first win of the season when they travel north to play the Minnesota Vikings (1-4) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium. Below, we preview the Falcons-Vikings Week 6 betting odds and lines and make our NFL picks and best bets.

Falcons at Vikings betting odds and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Friday at 11 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: Falcons +175 (bet $100, win $175) | Vikings -208 (bet $208, win $100)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Falcons +4.5 (-110) | Vikings -4.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: 54.5 (O: -110, U: -110)

Special NFL Week 6 Betting Promotion:

Bet $1 on any team’s money line Sunday, WIN $100 (in free bets) if any team scores a touchdown during Sunday’s action. Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, NJ and WV at BetMGM, The King of Sportsbooks! Terms and conditions apply. Bet now!

Falcons at Vikings game notes

  • The Vikings have averaged 26.4 points scored per game this season, while the Falcons have averaged 24.4 points per game through five weeks.
  • Minnesota’s defense is ranked 28th in points allowed per game, while Atlanta is ranked 30th.
  • Despite winning just one game this season, Minnesota is 3-2 against the spread.
  • Atlanta is 1-4 against the spread – when the Falcons lose, they tend to lose big.
  • When Minnesota has rushed for more than 160 yards, it is 3-0 against the spread

Falcons at Vikings key injuries

Falcons

  • WR Julio Jones (hamstring) doubtful
  • S Keanu Neal (hamstring) questionable
  • TE Hayden Hurst (back) probable
  • S Jaylinn Hawkins (concussion) questionable

Vikings

  • RB Dalvin Cook (groin) doubtful
  • CB Holton Hill (foot) questionable
  • CB Kris Boyd (hamstring) questionable

Falcons at Vikings: Odds, betting lines, picks and prediction

Prediction

Minnesota 34, Falcons 27

Money line (?)

Minnesota’s number (-208) is pretty stiff and too much to give up for a team that is 1-4. Atlanta has the firepower on offense to make a small bet at +175, but the best option would be to AVOID this bet altogether.

Against the spread (?)

Minnesota is a 4.5-point favorite. This is a difficult point spread because Minnesota could be up by 11 late and Falcons QB Matt Ryan is the 2020 king of garbage time yards and points at the end of games that have already been decided. Begrudgingly take the VIKINGS -4.5 (-110) to win by at least 5 points.

Over/Under (?)

Another tough number at 54.5 considering both Cook and Jones could be missing from this game. Both secondaries are so brutal and susceptible to giving up big plays over the top, Ryan and Vikings QB Kirk Cousins could both post big numbers against defenses ill-equipped to stop them. Take the OVER 54.5 (-110).

NFL Parlay Payday: Top Week 6 parlay bet to make

Put these 5 NFL Week 6 bets into a parlay and we’ll get paid exponentially if all five bets hit.

Week 6 in the NFL has another two games scheduled for Monday Night Football. There are also several key divisional battles and a couple of interesting interconference matchups that could ultimately decide playoff seeding.

Below, we will be creating a 5-bet NFL parlay for Week 6. This bet includes a few favorites and a few underdogs to increase the odds. Let’s take a look at our top Week 6 NFL parlay.

NFL Week 6 parlay picks and best bets

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Friday at 9:30 a.m. ET.

Leg 1: Chicago Bears +1 (-110) at Carolina Panthers

Our first bet is a simple one; the Bears are 1-point underdogs on the road to the Panthers. Chicago is a surprising 4-1 this season, but still doesn’t have the respect of oddsmakers. The Bears defense is among the best in the NFL and the offense seems competent with QB Nick Foles under center.

Look for them to slow down Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater and win this game outright Sunday.

Leg 2: Houston Texans +3.5 (-110) at Tennessee Titans

The next bet may be an unpopular one. After Tennessee dominated the Buffalo Bills Tuesday, the Titans are just 3.5-point favorites over the Texans in Week 6. While the Titans are 4-0, it’s worth noting they have covered the spread just once this season.

This AFC South matchup will be close and the Texans could potentially pull off the upset.

Bet now!

Leg 3: Washington Football Team (+125) at New York Giants

Washington is a slight underdog to the 0-5 Giants. Outside of their Week 5 explosion against the Dallas Cowboys, the Giants offense has struggled mightily this season.

Washington’s defense should be able to hold New York under 20 points and if it can get any production at all from QB Kyle Allen, expect Washington to win this game outright.

Leg 4: Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills (+185)

One of our biggest upsets this week will be taking the Bills at home against the Chiefs. After an embarrassing Week 5 loss to the Titans, the Bills will be looking to bounce back against the best team in the AFC. Buffalo is a +185 underdog to win this game, but has the talent on both sides of the ball to match up with Kansas City.

Considering the odds, this is a fun bet that should allow you to enjoy the first of two Monday football games.

Leg 5: Arizona Cardinals (-112) at Dallas Cowboys

Our final bet will be the Cardinals to beat the Cowboys outright on Monday Night Football. The Cardinals are a 1-point favorite and that makes sense considering all of the injuries on the Cowboys offense.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray should have a monster day against the Dallas defense. Don’t be surprised if this game turns into a blowout in primetime.

5-TEAM PARLAY | Bet $100 to earn a  profit $4,323.83

Browns at Steelers game notes

  • The Browns outlasted the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5, winning 32-23. Cleveland has scored 30 or more points in four consecutive games for the first time since 1968.
  • Not only has Cleveland won four in a row, but it has ripped off three consecutive covers while playing to the Over in four straight outings.
  • The Browns rank first in the NFL with 188.4 rushing yards per game, and they’re fourth in the league with 31.2 points per game. Defensively, the Browns rank fourth with 87.0 rushing yards allowed per game, and they’re tops in the league with 12 takeaways.
  • The Steelers rattled off a season-best 38 points last week in a nine-point win over the cross-state rival Philadelphia Eagles. Rookie WR Chase Claypool became just the third first-year player in NFL history to score a total of four touchdowns in a single game.
  • The Steelers rank third in the NFL with 301.5 total yards allowed per game, while checking-in second against the run (64.0 YPG) and sixth in defensive scoring average (21.8 PPG).

Browns at Steelers key injuries

Browns

  • S Ronnie Harrison Jr. (concussion) questionable
  • RB Kareem Hunt (thigh) probable
  • WR Jarvis Landry (hip, ribs) questionable
  • QB Baker Mayfield (chest) probable
  • DT Larry Ogunjobi (abdomen) probable

Steelers

  • TE Eric Ebron (hand) questionable
  • WR Diontae Johnson (back) questionable
  • WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) questionable
  • LB T.J. Watt (shoulder) probable
  • Maurkice Pouncey (foot) questionable

Browns at Steelers: Odds, betting lines, picks and prediction

Prediction

Steelers 31, Browns 24

Money line (?)

Playing the Steelers (-182) is probably the way to go, but it’s just over my personal limit for money lines. I won’t go over -180, with limited exceptions. This isn’t one of them. Just look to the spread instead. AVOID.

Against the spread (?)

The STEELERS -3 (-115) are worth a look as long as this stays at a flat three or under. Pittsburgh covered the spread in each of its last games, and three of four games overall. Conversely, while the Browns +3 (-106) have been impressive lately, they lost their only divisional road game badly in Week 1, falling 38-6 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Cleveland is also 0-2 ATS in two divisional games so far. The Browns are just 1-3-1 ATS in the past five trips to Pittsburgh, and the home team has covered four in a row in the head-to-head series.

Over/Under (?)

The OVER 50.5 (-115) is a decent small-unit play, as both of these offenses have had little trouble moving the ball lately. The Browns have hit the Over in four in a row, and the Steelers have cashed the Over in three straight.
