Parlay Bet Payday: NFL Divisional Round Sunday Slate

Highlighting 3 betting locks for Sunday’s NFL Divisional Round games to combine into a parlay bet for a greater payout.

After a fun day of football Saturday, we have two more games scheduled Sunday with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Cleveland Browns and the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers playing for a third time this season. To get you ready for the games, we have created a three-leg parlay to enjoy Sunday. Below, we make our NFL Divisional Round parlay predictions.

NFL Divisional Round parlay picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated 11:30 a.m. ET.

Leg 1: Cleveland Browns at Kansas City Chiefs -10 (-105)

The Browns have been one of the league’s best stories this season. After back-to-back seasons in which they earned the No. 1 pick in 2017 and 2018, the Browns have finally reached the playoffs and feel like a competent franchise. Their wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last week was one of the most shocking victories in playoff history.

Their task Sunday will be to knock off the defending Super Bowl champions in Kansas City after the Chiefs had a week off to prepare for this game. It’s a David vs. Goliath story and the Chiefs have two Goliaths in head coach Andy Reid and QB Patrick Mahomes.

With all the added rest, look for the Chiefs to dominate this game from the opening kickoff. They should have no problem moving the ball on offense and scoring 35 or more points seems likely. For that reason, take the Chiefs to cover the double-digit spread.

Leg 2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2.5 (-105) at New Orleans Saints

After two easy wins against the Buccaneers earlier this season, the Saints are 2.5-point favorites in this round of the playoffs; however, they will be without do-everything weapon Taysom Hill and backup RB Latavius Murray. While neither of those players are elite, they are two fewer weapons QB Drew Brees will have in his arsenal.

Tampa Bay is just playing so well on offense now that it’s hard to pick against the Bucs and QB Tom Brady should have a field day against this secondary and be able to score 30 or more points in this rematch.

Expect this game to be close and stay within 2 points.

Leg 3: Over 52.5 in Buccaneers-Saints (-105)

Tampa Bay’s defense looks great on paper, but the Bucs got picked apart by Washington Football Team QB Taylor Heinicke in the wild-card round.

While we expect Tampa Bay to win, look for them to give up close to 30 points to the Saints in New Orleans. That means the Over is a great bet.

Parlay Bet Payday: NFL Divisional Round Weekend Predictions

Highlighting three betting predictions on this weekend’s NFL Divisional Round slate to combine into a 3-leg parlay for a greater profit.

The NFL Divisional Round slate features the future of the quarterback position in the AFC with the reigning MVP, a former MVP, the 2018 No. 1 overall pick and a 2020 MVP candidate while the NFC has three future Hall of Fame QBs and a generational defensive force taking the field. Let’s make this NFL weekend even sweeter by cashing a three-bet parlay. Below, we make our NFL Divisional Round parlay predictions.

NFL Divisional Round parlay picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Friday at 3:50 p.m. ET.

Leg 1: Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers: UNDER 45.5 (-110)

The Rams defense is all-world this season, ranking first in opponent’s points per game and yards per play, and sack rate. I don’t expect them to completely shut down the Packers like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did earlier this season but I expect Los Angeles to minimize the damage QB Aaron Rodgers and Co. can do.

Also, Green Bay ranks first in net time of possession and Los Angeles second so both teams are good at controlling the flow of the game.

As for the Rams offense, I could give you rankings and metrics but let’s just settle on Los Angeles has the worst offense of all the remaining playoff teams. There’s no secret to the Rams’ recipe for a Super Bowl run. It’s 90% defense, 8% offense and 2% P Johnny Hekker.

Also see: Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers odds, picks and prediction

Leg 2: Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills: BUF Money line (-155)

Forgo 3 points with Buffalo’s spread and BET BILLS (-155) to win outright because we’re are still going to get a fat payout if our parlay cashes. These teams are the most evenly matched in the NFL Divisional Round Weekend.

Personally, I like the Bills here because they’ve played the most consistently in the NFL this season. Buffalo has the second-best cover percentage and best spread margin.

Naysayers will point to the Bills’ below-average rush defense as a reason to back the Ravens but my counter is Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott is a defensive tactician that will coach up his D vs. a one-dimensional Baltimore attack.

Most things being equal, I’ll take the home team with more momentum and circle the wagons with the Bills.

Leg 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints: NOS ML (-165)

Copy and paste the same logic as the section above here. I’m more worried about landing this parlay plane than I am maxing out the payout.

New Orleans’ 38-3 Week 9 victory over Tampa Bay on Sunday Night Football was possibly the most lopsided outcome this season and Saints beat the Bucs by 11 in the first week of the season.

Tampa Bay’s defense is overrated hence its 10-7 Over/Under record. The Buccaneers allowed the Washington Football Team (with QB Taylor Heinicke making his second career start) to put up 23 points last week.

Coincidentally, the Saints’ two games against the Bucs and the NFC Wild Card Round are the only three games in which New Orleans has had all three of RB Alvin Kamara, QB Drew Brees and WR Michael Thomas in the lineup at the same time.

New Orleans has scored 31 or more points in its last four games against Tampa Bay and the Saints will roll the Bucs for a third straight game Sunday.

Parlay Bet Pay Day: Top parlays to bet for Sunday’s NFL Wild Card games

Highlighting five bets on Sunday’s NFL Wild Card slate to combine into a 3-leg parlay for a greater profit.

We had three fantastic games Saturday during NFL Wild Card Weekend and the games only get better Sunday. With three games now on each day, it sets up endless opportunities for bettors. So without further ado, let’s take a look at our top NFL Wild Card parlay prediction for Sunday’s slate.

NFL Wild Card Sunday parlay picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated 9:25 a.m. ET.

Leg 1: Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans (+140)

The Titans enter this game as 3-point home underdogs. That doesn’t make a ton of sense considering Tennessee has already beaten Baltimore this season. While it’s true the Titans have one of the league’s worst pass defenses, the Ravens aren’t the type of team that can expose them in that area.

This is a game in which both teams are going to want to run the ball early and often, but the game will ultimately be decided by which quarterback plays better. Given their recent playoff history, Titans QB Ryan Tannehill inspires more confidence, especially with his arsenal of weapons at receiver.

The Titans aren’t a bad bet on the spread (+3, -105), but the value is here on the money line. Tennesee has a great chance to win this game at home and advance to the second round of the playoffs.

Also see: Ravens at Titans odds, picks and prediction

Leg 2: Chicago Bears +11 (-110) at New Orleans Saints

It’s hard to trust Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky much in a playoff game, but the recent history of Saints QB Drew Brees isn’t much better. New Orleans has one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, but their quarterback play over the last month has been less than ideal.

The Bears likely won’t win this game, but as double-digit underdogs on the road with no fans? That seems like a little bit too much. We know Chicago has a great defense and should make things difficult for Brees and Saints head coach Sean Payton.

If the Bears’ offense can score into the low-20s, they should have no problem covering this spread. There is also some backdoor cover potential here for the Bears as they could easily score late and get this within 10 in the final minutes.

Leg 3: Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers -6.5 (-105)

Despite the Browns being without their head coach and several key players such as OL Joel Bitonio, CB Denzel Ward and DE Olivier Vernon, the Steelers are just 6.5 point favorites in this game. In the first meeting of the season, Pittsburgh dominated from the opening whistle. That game was never a contest and Cleveland was much healthier than they are entering this Wild Card matchup.

Pittsburgh’s defense should dominate in this game and it’s hard to envision Cleveland scoring more than 17 points. For that reason, the Steelers should cover with ease as they will face a defense that can’t stop opposing quarterbacks at all.

NFL Parlay Payday: Top Week 16 parlay bet predictions

Highlighting five Week 16 NFL betting predictions to group together for one parlay bet with a much bigger payout.

We have just two weeks left of the NFL season and this is another week with games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Today, we are going to focus our five-leg NFL parlay for Sunday’s action only. So without further ado, let’s take a look at our top Week 16 NFL parlay.

NFL Week 15 parlay picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated 8:05 a.m. ET.

Leg 1: Texans -7 (-115) over Bengals

Coming off their biggest win of the season, the Bengals are 7-point underdogs to the Texans. However, that doesn’t feel like enough as Deshaun Watson should be able to torch this young secondary. This game certainly has some backdoor cover potential for the Bengals, but take Houston here.

Leg 2: Steelers (-130) over Colts

The Steelers are coming into this game on a three-game losing streak and will now host the Colts. However, their defense is still among the best in the NFL. They’ve had a ton of recent success against Philip Rivers and it’s just hard to bet against Mike Tomlin and the Steelers at home.

Leg 3: Bears -8.5 (-110) over Jaguars

The Bears are in the playoff hunt and the Jaguars are tanking. Jacksonville will be without several top players on offense and defense and Chicago’s defense should be able to hold them to 13 or fewer points. Look for this game to get out of control in a hurry and for Chicago to win by double digits.

Leg 4: Panthers (+100) over Washington

With Washington’s quarterback situation up in the air and WR Terry McLaurin likely out for this game, the Panthers are the smart play here on the money line. Carolina should be able to score 20 or more points in this game, which should be enough to ultimately win. Washington’s defense should keep them in this game, but Carolina has just too much offensive firepower in this matchup.

Leg 5: Packers -3 (-110) over Titans

The Sunday Night Football game features two of the better teams in the NFL as the Packers will host the Titans. While Green Bay’s run defense may be a problem in this game, Aaron Rodgers should have no problem dicing up Tennessee’s secondary. Both teams are going to score a bunch, but with Rodgers playing at a near-MVP level, it’s just tough to bet against him. Take the Packers to win and cover at home.

NFL Parlay Payday: Top Week 15 parlay bet predictions

Highlighting five Week 15 NFL betting predictions to group together for one parlay bet with a much bigger payout.

We are down to the final three weeks of the 2020 regular season. Playoff races are heating up and the football has been fantastic over the last few weeks. Week 15 promises to be another wild week in the NFL to get you prepared for the slate of games, we will be creating a 5-bet NFL parlay with several money line underdogs. Let’s take a look at our top Week 15 NFL parlay.

NFL Week 15 parlay picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Friday at 1:20 p.m. ET.

Leg 1: Broncos (+225) over Bills

Let’s start off our five-team parlay with a real upset, shall we? Coming off an impressive home win on Sunday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Bills could be in for a bit of a let-down in Week 15.

They will travel to Denver to take on the Broncos, who have played really well as of late. At +225, the Broncos are a great home underdog to take in this game as they have impressive wins over Miami and Carolina in the last few weeks.

Leg 2: Patriots +2.5 (-110) over Dolphins

Bill Belichick doesn’t lose to rookie quarterbacks very often. His defenses usually find a way to confuse and frustrate young passers and expect them to do it again on Sunday when they face QB Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins. Miami needs this game if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive, but look for the Patriots to play the role of “spoiler” in this game.

Special NFL Betting Promotion

Bet $1 on ANY TEAM’S money line Sunday, WIN an additional $100 (in free bets) if ANY team scores a touchdown during Sunday’s NFL action. Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM!

New customer offer, terms and conditions apply. Bet now!

Leg 3: Cowboys (+140) over 49ers

The Dallas Cowboys are 4-9 on the season, but they are coming off their most impressive victory of the season in Week 14. They are also getting several starters in their secondary back on the field and should be able to score enough points (at home) to upset the 49ers in Week 15. These are two bad teams, so take the home dog in this game at (+140) on the moneyline.

Leg 4: Saints +3 (-115) over Chiefs

With Drew Brees back in the lineup for the Saints, they are arguably the most dangerous team in the NFC. At home, that is especially true against one of the league’s worst defenses. This could be a Super Bowl preview and with the Saints playing this game in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, take them +3 (-115) in this game that should come down to the final possession.

Leg 5: Giants (+240) over Browns

The last pick in our five-team parlay is the Giants over the Browns on Sunday Night Football. Coming off the game of the year against Baltimore, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Cleveland have a bit of a letdown this week.

New York has a fantastic defensive line and might be able to slow down RBs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Can the Giants score enough points on offense to keep up? That is the question, but as a (+240) home dog, there is a lot of value to be had here.

NFL Parlay Payday: Top Week 14 parlay bet predictions

Leg 1: Tennessee Titans -7.5 (-110) at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Titans are coming off a tough loss to the Cleveland Browns, but they are a far better team than the Jaguars. Tennessee should be able to lean on its run game and score into the upper 20s in this game. As long as the Titans don’t turn the ball over, this should be an easy double-digit victory.

Leg 2: Indianapolis Colts -2.5 (-115) at Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders have not played well over the last two weeks. They were blown out by the Atlanta Falcons and nearly lost to the tanking New York Jets. The Colts are a healthier team right now and should be able to slow down the rushing attack of the Raiders. Considering all the problems Las Vegas has on defense right now, take Indianapolis to cover the 2.5-point spread Sunday afternoon.

Special NFL Betting Promotion

Bet $1 on ANY TEAM’S money line Sunday, WIN an additional $100 (in free bets) if ANY team scores a touchdown during Sunday’s NFL action. Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, NJ, TN and WV at BetMGM!

Leg 3: Houston Texans at Chicago Bears (+105)

The Texans have played well of late as they were just a few yards away from upsetting the Colts in Week 13. Unfortunately, they will face a Chicago team that is just a bad matchup for them. The Bears should be able to pressure Texans QB Deshaun Watson all day long and Chicago’s offense should be able to score into the mid-20s. Take the Bears as home underdogs this week.

Leg 4: Washington Football Team (+145) vs. San Francisco 49ers

After an impressive win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington looks like it could be the representative from the NFC East in the playoffs. A big step in the right direction would be beating a banged-up 49ers team that will be starting QB Nick Mullens once again. If Washington can score 20 or more points in this game, it should be able to steal a win.

Leg 5: Pittsburgh Steelers (+105) at Buffalo Bills

After just one loss, the Steelers find themselves as money line underdogs against the Bills. Pittsburgh still is 11-1 on the season with one of the league’s best defenses. Look for the Steelers to find ways to rattle Bills QB Josh Allen and win this game on Sunday Night Football. Head coach Mike Tomlin’s team is usually really good under the lights and expect that to be the case once again.

5-TEAM PARLAY | Bet $100 to earn a profit of $3,574.86

NFL Parlay Payday: Top Week 13 parlay bet predictions

Highlighting the five best betting predictions of Week 13 in the NFL to group together into a 5-leg parlay.

There are only five weeks left in the NFL season, which means we are running out of time to create big parlays on Sunday. Have no fear, we’ve got another potential winner again this week. To get you excited for the upcoming games, we will be creating a 5-bet NFL parlay with several money line underdogs. Let’s take a look at our top Week 13 NFL parlay.

NFL Week 13 parlay picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Friday at 1:25 p.m. ET.

Leg 1: Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears -3 (-110)

Why should we trust the Bears after they have lost five straight games? Well, because they are playing the Lions. Chicago’s defense should be able to contain QB Matthew Stafford and after the Lions fired head coach Matt Patricia, it’s unlikely they will be able to bounce back that quickly. Take the Bears in this game as 20 points on offense should be enough to win this game.

Leg 2: Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans (+160)

The 2020 season couldn’t have started out worse for the Texans. They lost five of their first six games and ultimately fired general manager and head coach Bill O’Brien. Since then,  they’ve won three of their last four games and dominated the Lions on Thanksgiving. With the long break, could they upset the Colts? The Texans have the better quarterback and their defense is playing better, as well.

Special NFL Betting Promotion

Leg 3: Cleveland Browns (+220) at Tennessee Titans

Arguably the best game of the weekend features the Browns traveling to Tennessee to take on the Titans. Cleveland is 8-3 on the season and the running game has been fantastic over the last month. With DE Myles Garrett returning to the field, look for this to be a game that comes down to the final possession. At +220, the Browns are a great value in a money line parlay.

Leg 4: Los Angeles Rams -2.5 (-115) at Arizona Cardinals

The Rams are 7-4 on the season, but two of their losses came against the San Franciso 49ers. Other than that, they have been highly competitive all season long. They are the more well-balanced team in this matchup and head coach Sean McVay has now won six straight games against Arizona. Take the Rams, as they should dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Leg 5: New England Patriots -1 (-110) at Los Angeles Chargers

Don’t look now, but the Patriots have won three of their last four games with their only loss coming against QB Deshaun Watson and the Texans. This week, they will take on rookie QB Justin Herbert and the Chargers, who have lost four of their last five games.

Simply put, I trust Bill Belichick more than Anthony Lynn. Take New England to win by at least 2 points.

NFL Parlay Payday: Top Week 12 parlay bet predictions

Highlighting five NFL betting predictions and best bets to combine into one 5-leg parlay for Week 12.

Week 12 of the NFL season is already underway with two games being played on Thanksgiving. To get you excited for the upcoming games, we will be creating a 5-bet NFL parlay with several money line underdogs. Let’s take a look at our top Week 12 NFL parlay.

NFL Week 12 parlay picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Friday at 12:25 p.m. ET.

Leg 1: Arizona Cardinals at New England Patriots (+105)

Arizona traveling to the east coast to play a 1 p.m. ET game against head coach Bill Belichick? That smells like an upset to me. New England is getting All-Pro CB Stephon Gillmore back in the lineup and he should help slow down Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins. I expect this game to be close, but for the Patriots to find a way to win at home.

Special NFL Week 12 Betting Promotion

Leg 2: Tennessee Titans (+155) at Indianapolis Colts

With Colts DT DeForest Buckner out Sunday due to a positive COVID-19 test, the Indianapolis defense doesn’t look all that scary. Titans RB Derrick Henry should have no problem running through this defense as late-November is when he starts to heat up. At +155, these odds are just too good to pass up for a good Titans team.

Leg 3: Los Angeles Chargers (+200) over Buffalo Bills

The Chargers are one of the league’s most talented teams, but they often have trouble closing out games. Can they do it this week against a Bills team coming off a bye? QB Justin Herbert is just too talented of a quarterback to be a 2-1 money line underdog in this game and for the value, we are riding with the Chargers.

Leg 4: Kansas City Chiefs -3 (-115) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Anytime you can bet on QB Patrick Mahomes to cover a field-goal spread, you have to take it. Tampa Bay is coming off a rough loss on Monday Night Football and its secondary got exposed in that game. The Bucs will be taking on an even bigger challenge this week as the Chiefs have one of the best offenses in NFL history. Take KC to win by 4 or more points and don’t look back.

Special NFL Betting Promotion

Bet $1 on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers money line, WIN $100 (in free bets) if Buccaneers QB Tom Brady throws a touchdown pass this week. Place your legal, online sports wagers in CO, IN, NJ, TN and WV at BetMGM, The King of Sportsbooks.

New customer offer, terms and conditions apply. Bet now!

Leg 5: Seattle Seahawks -5 (-110) at Philadelphia Eagles

The final leg of our parlay happens on Monday Night Football. The Seahawks are just 5-point favorites over a team that looks completely out of sorts. Look for the Seahawks to put up a bunch of points in this game and cover this spread with ease.

Leg 1:  Atlanta Falcons (+155) at New Orleans Saints

Do you trust Saints QB/TE Taysom Hill to adequately replace QB Drew Brees? Neither do I. The Falcons have been playing better on offense lately and this seems like the perfect time and place to pull off the upset of the week. Look for Hill to struggle in his first start at quarterback and for the Falcons to steal this game in New Orleans.

The Falcons are an excellent value here to start off our parlay.

Leg 2: New England Patriots -1.5 (-110) at Houston Texans

The Patriots are starting to figure out how they want to play football now with QB Cam Newton. They’ve morphed into a power-rushing attack behind Newton and second-year RB Damien Harris. Houston has had all sorts of problems stopping the run this season and just allowed the Cleveland Browns to have two 100-yard rushers in Week 10.

Look for the Patriots to run all over the Texans in this game and cover the 1.5 point spread.

Leg 3: Pittsburgh Steelers -10 (-115) at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars nearly pulled off an incredible upset against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers last week, but this will be a much tougher challenge as they face the 9-0 Steelers. Jacksonville won’t keep this within 10 points.

Special New Jersey and West Virginia Betting Promotion: Bet $1 on the Pittsburgh Steelers money line, win $100 (in free bets) if the Steelers score a touchdown during Week 11 vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars! Leg 4: Tennessee Titans (+200) at Baltimore Ravens

A rematch of the AFC Divisional Round from last year, both the Titans and Ravens are in a bit of a slump. Baltimore is really not playing well and will be without two of its best defenders in DE Calais Campbell and DT Brandon Williams. That could spell trouble for the Ravens as they have struggled before to stop Titans RB Derrick Henry.

Look for the Titans to have a ton of success on offense in this game and pull off the upset once again in Baltimore. At +200, these odds are simply too good to ignore.

Leg 5: Los Angeles Rams +4 (-110) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Under head coach Sean McVay, the Rams have actually had a ton of success in primetime keeping games close. With their impressive win over the Seattle Seahawks last week, they have shown they can hang with anyone in the NFC.

This week, they will take on the Buccaneers who present a lot of interesting challenges on both sides of the ball, but with the Rams having so many blue-chippers on offense and defense, and one of the league’s best head coaches, look for them to keep this within a field goal and maybe even pull off the upset on Monday Night Football.
