Washington Nationals star outfielder Juan Soto has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and will miss the season opener against the Yankees.
The Nationals’ General Manager Mike Rizzo made the report and stated that Soto is on the COVID-19 IL after a positive test and is asymptomatic and that Soto needs two negative tests to return to playing again.
