But it was special teams that did in the Chargers. On L.A.’s first possession, P Ty Long bobbled a snap and had his punt blocked, which set up Miami for a 1-yard TD run. Also in the first quarter, the Chargers were called for offside on a Dolphins’ field-goal attempt, which gave Miami a first down, leading to another TD and a 14-0 deficit.
