New Orleans Saints betting favorites over rival Atlanta Falcons by Week 11 odds

The New Orleans Saints are home betting favorites against the Atlanta Falcons by the Week 11 NFL odds and lines.

The Atlanta Falcons (3-6) and New Orleans Saints (7-2) meet at Mercedes-Benz Superdome Sunday for an NFC South rivalry game. It’s the first meeting of the 2020 season between the two. They’ll play again in Week 13. Below, we take a look at the early Falcons-Saints Week 11 betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.

The Falcons are coming off a bye after winning back-to-back games for the first time all season. They need to run the table in order to give themselves a shot at the NFC playoffs, but they enter the toughest stretch of their schedule. Atlanta will play the Saints and rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers twice each in the final seven weeks. QB Matt Ryan has been one of few bright spots this season. He has completed 67.2% of his passes for 2,746 yards and 15 touchdowns against 5 interceptions.

The Saints are expected to begin life without QB Drew Brees. He’s likely to miss multiple games with a build-up of injuries including fractured ribs and a collapsed lung. QB Jameis Winston will likely slide in under center for at least Week 10; it’ll be the former No. 1 pick’s first start with the Saints. RB Alvin Kamara has been the real star for New Orleans this year. He has 1,134 yards from scrimmage and 11 total touchdowns through nine games.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers home favorites vs. New Orleans Saints in Week 9 NFC South showdown

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the betting favorites in their Week 9 home game against the rival New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football.

The New Orleans Saints (5-2) visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2) for the Week 9 Sunday Night Football game at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff is at 8:20 p.m. ET. Here’s a look at the early betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.

This NFC South battle for first place is a rematch of their season opener when the Saints won at home 34-23. Making his Buccaneers debut, Tom Brady was intercepted twice in the loss.

In Week 8, the Saints needed overtime to escape with a 26-23 win at the Chicago Bears. QB Drew Brees (31 of 41, 280 passing yards) threw two touchdowns and K Wil Lutz kicked four field goals, including a game-winning, 35-yard field goal with 1:36 left in OT. New Orleans, which won its fourth in a row, led 23-13 early in the fourth quarter, but Chicago scored a touchdown with 3:32 to go and kicked a 51-yard field goal with 13 seconds left to tie it up. The victory was the Saints’ third consecutive by 3 points.

The Buccaneers beat the New York Giants 25-23 in the Monday Night Football game. The Bucs trailed 14-6 at the half, but Brady (28 for 40, 279 yards) threw two second-half touchdowns as they won a third in a row. The two TDs pushed Brady back ahead of Brees for the all-time lead in career touchdown passes 561-560. TE Rob Gronkowski caught one of Brady’s TDs as the duo connected for their 93rd touchdown, moving into second place on the all-time list as they passed Hall of Famers Steve Young and Jerry Rice of the San Francisco 49ers. The Indianapolis Colts duo of Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison hold the record at 114.
