Titans at Patriots head-to-head

The Titans are 2-0 vs. the Patriots since hiring head coach Mike Vrabel in 2018, both times as underdogs.

Tennessee upset New England 34-10 in Week 10 of 2018, and 20-13 the following season in an AFC Wild Card game.

However, Titans RB Derrick Henry (sidelined since a Week 8 foot injury) was crucial in both wins and, obviously, QB Tom Brady is no longer under center for the Patriots.

New England is just 8-10 ATS when playing with a rest advantage since 2016 but 28-17-1 ATS as a home favorite. Tennessee is 11-6 ATS as a road underdog and 8-4 ATS when playing with a rest disadvantage in the Vrabel era.

First look: Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots Week 10 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Cleveland Browns (5-4) stop by Gillette Stadium Sunday for a Week 10 meeting with the New England Patriots (5-4) at 1 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Browns vs. Patriots odds and lines; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.

Cleveland had the most lopsided victory Sunday after pummeling the Cincinnati Bengals 41-16 as a 1.5-point underdog. It was Cleveland’s first game without WR Odell Beckham Jr. as both parties decided to split earlier in the week.

Browns QB Baker Mayfield and the running game stepped up in OBJ’s absence. Mayfield completed 14-for-21 throws for 218 yards and a 2 TD:0 INT ratio. RB Nick Chubb added 137 rushing yards on just 14 carries with 2 TDs.

New England squashed the Carolina Panthers 24-6 Sunday as a 3.5-point road favorite. The Patriots defense held Panthers QB Sam Darnold (16 of 33 pass attempts) to 172 passing yards with 0 touchdowns and 3 interceptions, which included a pick-six from New England CB J.C. Jackson.

Browns at Patriots head-to-head

New England handled Cleveland 27-13 as a 9.5-point home favorite the last time these teams met (Week 8 of 2019). However, the Patriots no longer have QB Tom Brady nor their leading rusher and receiver from that game.

The Patriots held Mayfield to 194 passing yards on 20-for-31 passing with a 1 TD:1 INT ratio. Chubb gained 131 rushing yards on 20 carries but failed to get into the end zone.

Since the beginning of last season, the Browns are 6-10 ATS as favorites and the Patriots are 6-5 ATS as underdogs. Last year was New England’s first season without Brady under center and the first year of Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski’s Browns’ tenure.

First look: New York Jets at New England Patriots odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s New York Jets at New England Patriots Week 7 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The New York Jets (1-4) are on the road Sunday to play the New England Patriots (2-4) for a Week 7 AFC East showdown. Kickoff from Gillette Stadium is slated for 1 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Jets vs. Patriots odds and lines; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.

The Jets had their bye in Week 6. The last time saw New York in action was a Week 5 loss 27-20 to the Atlanta Falcons in London. QB Zach Wilson has struggled in his rookie season, being held without a passing touchdown in three of five starts and under 200 passing yards in two of those outings.

RB Michael Carter has been the leading rusher out of the backfield for the last four Jets’ games, but despite finding paydirt in back-to-back outings the fourth-round pick has failed to reach 40 rushing yards in any game since Week 2.

The Patriots fell 35-29 in overtime to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. While the overtime finish indicates a close game, Dallas outgained New England 567 to 335 in total yards and dominated time of possession 39:17 to 26:51.

QB Mac Jones was 15-for-21 passing for 229 yards and 2 touchdowns against 1 interception. WR Kendrick Bourne lead all Patriots receivers with 75 yards, but they all came on one reception. While WR Jakobi Meyers lead the team with 6 targets. RB Damien Harris reached 100 rushing yards for just the second time this season and the first time since the opening week as he finished with 101 yards and a score on 18 carries.

First look: Dallas Cowboys at New England Patriots odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Dallas Cowboys at New England Patriots Week 6 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Dallas Cowboys (4-1) have a road tilt with the New England Patriots (2-3) in Week 6. Kickoff from Gillette Stadium is set for 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday. Below, we look at the Cowboys vs. Patriots odds and lines; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.

The Cowboys picked up their fourth straight win with a 44-20 victory over the NFC East foe New York Giants in Week 5. Just a few days ahead of the one-year anniversary of his season-ending ankle injury QB Dak Prescott connected on 22 of his 32 passes for 302 yards and 3 touchdowns against 1 interception.

RB Ezekiel Elliott eclipsed 100 rushing yards for the second consecutive week as he finished with 110 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. WR CeeDee Lamb bounced back from a quiet Week 4 and recorded 84 yards and a score on 4 receptions from 6 targets.

The Patriots snapped a two-game losing skid with a 25-22 road victory over the Houston Texans. New England was without four of its starting offensive linemen but managed to protect rookie QB Mac Jones, although the run game looked suspect at times. The Pats overcame a 22-9 deficit that they found themselves in just 90 seconds into the second half.

Jones finished with 23-for-30 passing for 231 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. TE Hunter Henry led all Patriots’ pass catchers with 75 receiving yards (and caught Jones’ lone touchdown), while RB Damien Harris paced the running back group with 58 yards and a score on 14 carries.

Cowboys at Patriots head-to-head

The Cowboys and Patriots have only met 13 times since 1971, most recently a 13-9 New England victory in 2019. Dallas leads the all-time series 7-6, but New England have won six in a row after losing the first seven times the two sides met.

Despite that win streak, this weekend will feature a very different look as the last five meetings featured future Hall of Fame QB Tom Brady who is no longer with the Patriots.

Patriots at Texans head-to-head

New England and Houston have only met 13 times with the Patriots holding a 10-3 series lead, although the Texans have won the last two meetings.

Brady had been the Patriots’ signal-caller for 11 of the 12 previous encounters before last season’s meeting. Last season featured QBs Deshaun Watson and Cam Newton, so this year’s affair will feature very different looks from both sides.

Buccaneers at Patriots head-to-head

The Patriots picked up a 19-14 win Oct. 5, 2017, in Tampa the last time these teams played. Brady threw for 303 yards and a touchdown in a Patriots uniform.

While New England has won and covered each of the last three matchups with the Under hitting in each, Brady was under center in each of those games against the Bucs, not for them.
