Huskers offer 2025 Texas four-star athlete Kelshaun Johnson

Nebraska has extended a scholarship offer to 2025 ATH Kelshaun Johnson.

This past week, the Nebraska Cornhuskers extended an offer to class of 2025 four-star athlete Kelshaun Johnson. At the college level Johnson is expected to be play the wide receiver position.

The offer is the 16th for Johnson who is out of Hitchcock, Texas. Johnson is ranked as a four-star prospect by both On3 and Rivals while 247Sports ranks the Texas native as a high three-star prospect.

Matt Rhule and the Cornhuskers already have three commitments in their 2025 recruiting class, all natives of Nebraska. Those three commitments are running back Conor Booth, defensive tackle Tyson Terry, and defensive back Caden VerMaas.

Other programs that have offered Johnson include Auburn, Kansas, Oregon, Penn State, SMU, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech

A class of 2025 baseball prospect has announced his commitment to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

A class of 2025 baseball prospect has announced his commitment to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Carter Kutz is a 6-3, 185 pound C/RHP/3B out of Hartford, Wisconsin.

Kutz made the announcement on social media.

First of all I would like to thank God, My parents, coaches, siblings, family, friends and everyone who has supported me through this decision. With that being said I am blessed and thankful for the opportunity to announce my commitment to the University of Nebraska! I couldn’t be more excited to live out my lifelong dream as a child to play college baseball and county be happier to have the opportunity to live this dream out at the University of Nebraska. According to Perfect Game, Kutz is the tenth commitment to the class of 2025.

Huskers make cut for top wide receiver

A four-star wide receiver from the state of Missouri has announced his top eight schools, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers have made the cut.

A four-star wide receiver from the state of Missouri has announced his top eight schools, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers have made the cut. Isaiah Mozee is a 6-0, 190-pound prospect for Lee Summit North.

All four major recruiting services currently rank the receiver as the top player in the state for the class of 2025. His eight finalists are Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee and Nebraska.

Mozee told 247Sports that he plans on making an early commitment.

“I want to commit early. I don’t want the headache. I want to do it before my senior year. I want to help recruit guys and early enroll. I will be ready after the season.”

Through nine games this season, Mozee has 61 receptions for 888 yards and 12 touchdowns.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have offered a class of 2025 edge rusher out of Indiana.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have offered a class of 2025 edge rusher out of Indiana. Uchenyo Ojata is a 6-5, 210-pound defensive lineman out of Carmel High School.

Nebraska is the most recent offer that Ojata has received. He also holds scholarships from Eastern Michigan, Miami (OH), and Toledo.

Ojata told Husker Online (subscription required) that the Huskers will be recruiting him as a linebacker in their 3-3-5 scheme.

“Nebraska sees me at the Jack linebacker position. I like the defensive scheme a lot, especially with what I would be doing.”

Purdue and Indiana have also shown interest in the prospect. He even took a visit to Lincoln on Saturday for the Huskers victory over Northwestern.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have offered a four-star athlete out of Oklahoma. Trystan Haynes plays for Carl Albert High School and is a member of the class of 2025.

He made the announcement of the Husker’s offer on social media.

After a great phone call with (director of player personnel Omar Hales) I am blessed to announce that I have received an offer from the University of Nebraska.

Last season, Haynes recorded 70 tackles with two interceptions, one punt return for a touchdown, and one kickoff return for a touchdown. He plays cornerback and wide receiver this season.

The prospect made the announcement on social media.

Shinofield is listed at 6-6, 275 pounds. The offer from the University of Nebraska is the first major scholarship he’s received.

Nebraska will host a four-star defensive back this weekend. Daryus Dixson was originally scheduled to be at USC at Colorado this Saturday, but reports now say the cornerback will make the trip to Lincoln.

The Huskers were the most recent school to offer a scholarship to Dixson, which took place on August 30. The 6-1, 180-pound prospect is a member of the class of 2025.

The California native holds offers from Notre Dame, Oregon, Miami, and Colorado, to name a few. Dixson has no timetable for when he will make his college decision.

A class of 2025 quarterback has confirmed that he will be visiting Nebraska this weekend. Alex Manske is a three-star recruit out of Algona High School in Iowa.

The quarterback is off to a fast start for the 2023 season. Through two games, he has 553 passing yards with 7 touchdowns and no interceptions. He also has 171 rushing yards.

The quarterback made three different visits to the Lincoln campus over the summer. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Manske recently visited Iowa State and picked up an offer from the Cyclones.

This weekend, Nebraska will be looking for their first win of the year when they host Northern Illinois. Kickoff will take place at 6:00 p.m. on FS1.

A four-star wide receiver has locked in a visit to Lincoln. Cortez Mills is a class of 2025 recruit out of Homestead, Florida.

Mills plans on visiting on Sept. 30, when Nebraska hosts Michigan. He told On3 (subscription required) that he’s been in consistent contact with the Cornhuskers staff.

“I am hearing from coach Garret McGuire, coach Corey Cooper, coach Simpson, and even from head coach Matt Rhule a couple of times.”

Mills has other visits planned for the future. He’s also planning trips to Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Miami, and Penn State.

The receiver is ranked as a top 20 prospect at his position in the class of 2025.

A class of 2025 in-state recruit has committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

A class of 2025 in-state recruit has committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Conor Booth is a running back for Bishop Neuman High School out of Wahoo, Nebraska.

In his first game of the season, Booth carried the ball 12 for 130 yards and four touchdowns. Last season, he had 72 carries for 964 yards.

He announced the scholarship offer on social media.

Booth confirmed in his announcement that he will play football and baseball when he arrives in Lincoln. He catches and plays in the outfield on the diamond.
