The University of Nebraska Athletic Department finished the athletic year No. 22nd in the 2023-24 Division I Learfield Directors’ Cup standings. The Huskers finished with 841.00 points, the best finish for the school since the 2010 season when they finished 17th.
This is the third time the Huskers have broken the 800-point mark in the all-sports competition. Nebraska was one of five Big Ten teams to finish in the Top 25.
Those teams were Ohio State (11), Michigan (15), Penn State (23), and Wisconsin (25). The final standings count 19 sports, and four of those sports must be women’s volleyball and basketball and men’s basketball and baseball.
Nebraska had seven programs that recorded top-10 national finishes during the 2023-24 year, including volleyball, women’s soccer, bowling, men’s gymnastics, rifle, wrestling, and women’s outdoor track and field.
Big Red success across the board.
