While many of the conversations about the NBA have been about when the league will start and how long the season is, there is the other matter that players have effectively been kept away from the office of the team practice facility and have been forced into gyms that are outside of the NBA sphere. But that is now a thing of the past.

Shams Charania of The Athletic/Stadium reported on Friday that the NBA is now allowing all 30 teams in the league to open the practice facility for players to have workouts. However, those workouts will still be limited to no more than 10 people as coronavirus cases around the country are steadily rising.

It remains to be seen when the NBA will come back but they are still waiting until they get closer to actual gameplay before they are going to allow teams to have full scrimmages and other types of group workouts. That they can play in some small groups instead of only individual workouts, however, is a sign that the NBA has learned where they can make some changes to the protocols used to help finish the end of the previous season.
