Early signing period: Nathan Robinson signs with Tennessee

The 2022 early signing period is taking place Dec. 21-23 for the 2023 recruiting signing class.

The 2022 early signing period is Josh Heupel’s second as Tennessee’s head coach. He was hired as the Vols’ head coach in Jan. 2021.

Heupel guided the Vols to a 10-2 regular season in 2022.

No. 6 Tennessee (10-2, 6-2 SEC) will play No. 7 Clemson (11-2, 8-0 ACC) in the Capital One Orange Bowl on Dec. 30.

Kickoff between the Vols and Tigers is slated for 8 p.m. EST (ESPN) at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Nathan Robinson signed with the Vols on Wednesday during the early signing period.

The 6-foot-5, 272-pound defensive lineman is from Greenbrier High School in Greenbrier, Tennessee.

A 2023 in-state defensive lineman commits to the Vols.

2023 defensive line prospect Nathan Robinson announced his commitment to Tennessee on Monday.

“I’m blessed to be able to say that I will be committing to the University of Tennessee,” Robinson said on Twitter.

The 6-foot-5, 268-pound Robinson is from Greenbrier High School in Greenbrier, Tennessee.

Tennessee offered Robinson on April 22, 2021.

At the time of Robinson’s commitment to the Vols, he holds scholarship offers from Tennessee, Akron, Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, Indiana, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

Robinson is Tennessee’s sixth commitment for the Vols’ 2023 recruiting class. He joins quarterback Nico Iamaleava Jr, tight end Ethan Davis, offensive lineman Ayden Bussell, safety Jack Luttrell and wide receiver Nate Spillman.

2023 linebacker and defensive line prospect Nathan Robinson has announced a date to visit the University of Tennessee.

He will visit Tennessee on March 5.

The 6-foot-6, 270-pound defensive prospect is from Greenbrier High School in Greenbrier, Tennessee.

Robinson was offered by the Vols on April 22, 2021.

“Blessed to receive my first SEC offer from the University of Tennessee,” he announced.

Robinson has Southeastern Conference scholarship offers from Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.

Tennessee Vols’ football recruiting news.

Josh Heupel and Tennessee’s coaching staff continues to recruit future Vols.

The Vols offered a scholarship to 2023 linebacker prospect Nathan Robinson.

“Blessed to receive my first SEC offer from the University of Tennessee,” Robinson said on Twitter.

He referenced Heupel and Tennessee’s offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Alex Golesh in his offer announcement post.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound linebacker is from Greenbrier High School in Greenbrier, Tennessee.

Robinson has offers from Tennessee, Akron and Eastern Kentucky.

The Vols do not have a commitment for its 2023 recruiting class.

Tennessee hired Heupel as its head coach on Jan. 27. The Vols kick off the 2021 season on Sept. 4 against Bowling Green at Neyland Stadium.
