Victor Osimhen’s agent said he “reserves the right to take legal action” after Napoli posted, then deleted, a video on TikTok mocking its own star striker.
The video poked fun at Osimhen for his second-half penalty miss on Sunday in a 0-0 draw with Bologna.
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable,” Roberto Calenda said on X (formerly Twitter).
“A video mocking Victor was first made public, but now belatedly deleted. A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news.
“We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor.”
The video in question is, well, strange.

Also strange: the decision to further poke Osimhen, who shouted at coach Rudi Garcia when he was subbed out against Bologna, and has been consistently linked with a move away from the club.
Napoli cruised to the Serie A title last season behind Osimhen’s 26 league goals, but the club’s title defense is off to a rocky start. The Partenopei have a 2W-1L-2D record in their first five league matches, and there are already reports that Garcia — who took over from Luciano Spalletti in the offseason — could be facing the sack.
If there were any questions over Osimhen’s current mood, those were definitely answered when he arrived at the team hotel on Wednesday — and totally left his teammate Diego Demme hanging.
