Alabama rides offensive stars in shootout win over Florida for SEC title

Alabama won the SEC Championship game yet again, riding their offensive stars to a shootout win over Florida

If you’re a Heisman Trophy voter, good luck deciding which of Alabama’s offensive stars is most deserving of college football’s most prestigious individual honor.

The Crimson Tide won yet another SEC title Saturday night, outlasting the Florida Gators in a 52-46 shootout, and they got incredible performances from their dynamic playmakers on offense.

Quarterback Mac Jones completed 33 of his 43 passes for 418 yards and five touchdowns, wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught 15 passes for 184 yards and two scores, and running back Najee’ Harris racked up 245 total yards and found the end zone five times.

All three should hear their names called early in the 2021 NFL draft, but first, they’ll head into the College Football Playoff as the No. 1 seed.
