For Texas A&M and every other FBS program, the 2024 recruiting cycle remains the focus going into the summer, but the 2025 cycle is almost too intriguing to ignore, and head coach Jimbo Fisher has been sending offer after offer to some of the most talented prospects the class has to offer.
On Friday, it was reported that the Aggies officially offered 2025 four-star cornerback Na’eem Offord out of Birmingham, Alabama, who by all means should end up as a five-star recruit when it’s all said and done. According to 247Sports, Offord is ranked as the 8th player in the class, the No.1-ranked cornerback, and the 3rd-ranked player in Alabama.

During his 2022 sophomore season at Parker High School, Offord performed as a two-way player, receiving snaps at both wide receiver and quarterback, recording 360 yards and 3 TD while averaging 10.3 yards per carry, and caught 18 passes for 366 yards and 3 TD. Defensively, Offord was credited with 13 tackles and 1 sack on the season. With nearly third offers on the table already, the Aggies have made their presence felt early, and as both parties continue to keep in contact by this time next year, Offord’s potential future in College Station will become much clearer.
