Matthew Lillard returns to voice Shaggy in Multiversus

The real Shaggy is back.

Just when everyone thought Multiversus  couldn’t get any better, Warner Bros. goes ahead and reveals Matthew Lillard is voicing Shaggy.

The  positively bananas Smash-like brawler  is rife with characters from various Warner Bros. properties — yes, that means stabbing Tom and Jerry with Arya Stark’s dagger is possible. Multiversus’ cast is from all over, as you can see. However, none have drawn as much hype as Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, mostly because actor Matthew Lillard is returning to voice the character.

Lillard has played Shaggy off-and-on since the 2002 live-action Scooby-Doo film — which qualifies him for knighthood in the eyes of many. Rightfully so, too.

Shaggy is also apparently a Super Saiyan if you didn’t already know that. It’s canon. Just look at the pic below to see what I mean!

Though Lillard is far from the only actor reprising an iconic role for Multiversus. Fans of Batman: The Animated Series  might want to take a deep breath right now.

Yes, Maisie Williams of Game Of Thrones  fame is working on this game. The Night King best stay in the ground, then.

Rumors of Multiversus  were circulating for quite a while, so it’s nice to see it’s real and looking it’s embracing its absurd premise.
