A trio of Spartans will be competing in the 2024 Olympic Games from Paris.

The Olympics officially begins on Friday, and there will be three Michigan State Spartans competing in the games. Here’s the breakdown of the Spartans:

  • Heath Baldwin in the decathlon for the United States
  • Tori Franklin in the triple jump for the United States
  • Shay Colley in basketball for Canada

The Olympics will be televised on NBC.

There will be no Tum Tum at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Spain defeated the Bahamas in Sunday’s qualifying final from Valencia, Spain. Former Spartans guard Lourawls “Tum Tum” Nairn played for the Bahamas in the qualifying games.
