Michigan State football got some good news on the injury front on Thursday.

On Thursday, ESPN college football insider Pete Thamel reported that Michigan State will get wide receiver Jaron Glover back for Saturday night’s matchup against Ohio State. Glover is one of the Spartans’ top wide receivers, and has missed the past two games with an undisclosed injury.

Thamel also reported that star freshman Nick Marsh is a game-time decision for this matchup against the Buckeyes. Marsh experienced an injury two weeks ago Prairie View A&M that kept him out last week against Boston College.

Michigan State is 3-1 overall and 1-0 in Big Ten play. The Spartans lost last week at Boston College when missing both Marsh and Glover.

Add another primetime game to the Spartans’ 2024 schedule.

It was announced on Monday that Michigan State’s next home game against Ohio State will be under the lights of Spartan Stadium. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. ET and will be available for streaming on Peacock.

Michigan State has already played one night game against Florida Atlantic in the season-opener and has three others already known on the schedule, including at Boston College this week.

Michigan State is 3-0 on the year and 1-0 in Big Ten play. Ohio State is 2-0 and will likely be 3-0 when they come to Spartan Stadium on September 28.

No. 2 Ohio State has officially named transfer Will Howard as the team’s starting quarterback. Howard transferred from Kansas State in the offseason and was the projected starter entering fall camp. Howard beat out Devin Browne for the starting gig.
