Michigan State has gotten off to a brutal start this year, with a 4-4 record. The Spartans lost by double-digits to Wisconsin earlier this week and are in desperate need of a win on Sunday.

Nebraska is also looking to get things going in the right direction again on Sunday. The Cornhuskers opened the season 7-0 but have dropped their last two games by double digits against Creighton and Minnesota — the first two solid teams Nebraska has faced this year.

Matchup analysis, game prediction for MSU-Nebraska from LSJ’s Graham Couch

See how LSJ’s Graham Couch envisions Michigan State’s game against Nebraska playing out on Tuesday

Michigan State basketball will look to bounce back from a deflating loss over the weekend in yet another tough test on Tuesday against Nebraska.

The Spartans let a big lead slip away in the final minute against Iowa on Saturday afternoon before losing in overtime. That loss spoiled what had been a great performance from the Spartans and drops Michigan State to 17-11 overall and 9-8 in Big Ten play.

Nebraska, on the other hand, has been extremely hot as of late with wins in their last four games. The Cornhuskers have notable wins over Penn State, Maryland, Wisconsin and Rutgers in the past few weeks, and now are 15-14 overall and 8-10 in Big Ten play.
