Michigan State basketball is only a few weeks away from tipping off the 2024-25 season.
The Michigan State basketball schedule for the upcoming season has officially been finalized. The schedule will include a total of two exhibition games and 31 regular season games — 11 in non-conference and 20 in conference play.
Michigan State opens the season on October 13 in an exhibition mathcup at Northern Michigan, and will play its first official game of the season on November 4 against Monmouth. The final regular season game of the year will take place on March 9 against rival Michigan at the Breslin Center.
Michigan State comes into the 2024-25 season as one of the favorites in the Big Ten. The Spartans haven’t won the regular season Big Ten championship since 2019.
