Former Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins is once again a top 100 player in the NFL.

The annual NFL Top 100 Players list has begun to be revealed, and Cousins cracked the list again this year. This is the eighth time Cousins has been selected for this prestigious honor.

Cousins came in at No. 81 this year, which is 42 spots lower than last year’s rankings. He, however, did miss most of last season with a torn Achilles injury.

Cousins will debut in Atlanta this coming season as the new Falcons starting quarterback. He signed with the Falcons as a free agent this offseason.

Former Spartan Kirk Cousins is one of three quarterbacks to be profiled in an upcoming Netflix documentary on the quarterback position in the NFL. The documentary will also include Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Marcus Mariota of the Atlanta Falcons.

Cousins — who plays for Minnesota — was a star quarterback for the Spartans under former head coach Mark Dantonio. Since leaving Michigan State, Cousins has had a successful career in the NFL, starting 141 career games for Washington Commanders (formerly known as the Redskins during Cousins’ time there) and Minnesota Vikings.

The documentary is set to be released on July 12. Check out the trailer for this interesting Netflix documentary below:
