Daniel Barker will get to wear his Michigan State helmet one more time this year.
Barker will be heading to the East-West Shrine Bowl, with an announcement coming out on Monday that he’s accepted an invitational to play in the game. This matchup is an opportunity for players like Barker to showcase their talent ahead of the NFL Draft.
Barker transferred to Michigan State from Illinois this past offseason, and recorded 21 receptions for 239 yards and two touchdowns in his lone season as a Spartan. He appeared in all 12 games this past season.
