How much money each golfer won at the Sanderson Farms Championship

Check out how much money each player won at the Sanderson Farms Championship at Country Club of Jackson.

Until Sunday, Sergio Garcia had not won on the PGA Tour as a dad. After he stuck his approach shot to 2 feet on the 18th hole at the Country Club of Jackson, and holed the birdie putt to win the Sanderson Farms Championship, Garcia made clear that his family back home was on his mind.

Garcia managed to hold off the field on Sunday, particularly a hard-charging Peter Malnati, a past Sanderson Farms champion who put a 63 on the leaderboard early and then had to wait to see what Garcia would do.

Check out what each of those men took home for their efforts in Mississippi, plus what the rest of the field earned, too.

Bulked-up mad scientist Bryson DeChambeau can now add “major champion” to his list of titles.

Matthew Wolff finished second at even, followed by Louis Oosthuizen in third at 2 over, Harris English in fourth at 3 over and Xander Schauffele in fifth at 4 over.

The win earned the 27-year-old the $2.25 million top prize, making him the 83rd player in PGA Tour history to break the $20 million mark for on-course earnings. Check out how much money each player earned this week at the 120th U.S. Open at Winged Foot.

How much money each PGA Tour golfer won at the BMW Championship

Check out the prize money earned by each player this week at the BMW Championship at Olympia Fields.

In the end, a testing week at the BMW Championship came down to a couple of long putts.

Dustin Johnson drained a snaking 43-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole at Olympia Fields on Sunday to force a playoff with Jon Rahm. It didn’t last long, because on the first playoff hole, Rahm poured in a 66-footer for birdie to win the tournament. It was his second Tour win of the year and fifth overall.

Rahm overcame a first-round 75 and a third-round penalty to shoot 66-64 over the weekend. He led by two late Sunday, but Johnson birdied the 15th to make it a one-shot deficit. Johnson’s birdie on 18 forged a tie.

Johnson will still start next week’s Tour Championship in the pole position at 10 under, two shots ahead of the field. In addition to that perk, here’s how much Johnson, Rahm and the rest of the field won on Sunday.
