Former Tennessee offensive lineman announces transfer destination.

Former Tennessee redshirt freshman Mo Clipper Jr. entered the NCAA transfer portal on Dec. 4.

“After much thought and prayers, I have decided to enter my name in the transfer portal with three years of eligibility left,” Clipper announced.

Clipper Jr. announced on Monday he is transferring to Charlotte.

The 6-foot-5, 308-pound offensive lineman appeared in three games for the Vols from 2022-23. Clipper played in five snaps at guard versus Virginia in 2023, while appearing in the Vols’ contests against Ball State and UT Martin last season.

He came to Tennessee from Milton High School in Milton, Georgia.

Tennessee redshirt freshman offensive lineman enters the NCAA transfer portal.

Tennessee redshirt freshman Mo Clipper Jr. plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal when it opens on Monday.

“After much thought and prayers, I have decided to enter my name in the transfer portal with three years of eligibility left,” Clipper announced.

The 6-foot-5, 308-pound offensive lineman appeared in three games for the Vols from 2022-23. Clipper played in five snaps at guard versus Virginia in 2023, while appearing in the Vols’ contests against Ball State and UT Martin last season.

He came to Tennessee from Milton High School in Milton, Georgia.

Tennessee finished the 2023 regular season with an 8-4 (4-4 SEC) record. The Vols await their bowl destination.

The football early signing period is taking place Dec. 15-17 for the 2022 recruiting class.

Maurice Clipper Jr. has signed with Tennessee.

The 2022 signing period is the first full class under head coach Josh Heupel.

The Vols were 7-5 (4-4 SEC) in 2021 under Heupel. Tennessee will play in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl against Purdue on Dec. 30 (3 p.m. EST, ESPN).

Maurice Clipper Jr. commits to Tennessee.

2022 offensive line prospect Maurice Clipper Jr. has committed to the Vols.

Clipper Jr. made the announcement Saturday on Twitter.

The 6-foot-4, 299-pound offensive lineman is from Milton High School in Milton, Georgia.

Clipper Jr. has Power Five scholarship offers from Tennessee, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi State and West Virginia.

He officially visited Tennessee June 25 and was offered a scholarship by the Vols on Feb. 19. Josh Heupel was hired as Tennessee’s head coach on Jan. 27.

The Vols offered a scholarship to 2022 offensive line prospect Maurice Clipper Jr. on Feb. 19.

Clipper Jr. officially visited Tennessee over the weekend.

“Thank you for having me Vol football, had a great official visit,” Clipper Jr. said on Twitter.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound offensive lineman is from Milton High School in Milton, Georgia.

Clipper Jr. has Power Five offers from Tennessee, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi State and West Virginia.
