Dallas Baptist strengthens it grip on No. 1 in latest 2022-23 Mizuno WGCA Div. II coaches poll

Dallas Baptist more than doubled its share of first-place votes.

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association released its latest Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll, the second poll of the 2022-23 season.

Dallas Baptist more than doubled its share of first-place votes, going from eight three weeks ago to 15 this time around in the Division II rankings.

DBU won its third tournament—and second in two weeks—at the 2022 National Preview in Eureka, Missouri, on Oct. 11.

Henderson State, which jumped from No. 10 to No. 3 in the last poll, has climbed up one more spot to No. 2, while also collecting a first-place vote.

Lynn flip-flops with HSU and slides back one one spot to No. 3.

Nova Southeastern is No. 4 and West Texas A&M is No. 5.

Redlands has broken a tie for the top spot.

Redlands has broken a tie for the top spot in the third Mizuno WGCA Coaches Div. III Poll in women’s college golf.

Redlands and Emory shared top billing last time around.

This time, Redlands, with eight first-place votes, is alone at No. 1.

Washington University in St. Louis received two first-place votes and jumped five spots to No. 2.

George Fox also got a first-place vote and checks in at No. 3. Emory slid back to No. 4 while also garnering a first-place vote.

Centre College moves up five spots to round out the top five.

Oklahoma City still No. 1 despite fewer first-place votes than British Columbia in latest 2022-23 Mizuno WGCA NAIA coaches poll

The latest Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll for NAIA has Oklahoma City on top.

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association has announced the results of its most recent Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll for the NAIA programs, the third one of the 2022-23 season.

For the second poll in a row, British Columbia collected more first-place votes but fewer overall votes and thus remains second behind top-ranked Oklahoma City.

Keiser is third, Dalton State is fourth and Cumberland is fifth.

In Div. II, Dallas Baptist collected eight first-place votes and stayed in the top spot.

Lynn garnered three first-place votes and moved two spots into the No. 2 spot.

Henderson State, meanwhile, jumped 10 spots to nab the No. 3 position. The Reddies received five first-place votes.

Findlay slid back two spots to No. 4 while Indianapolis is up six spots into the No. 5 slot.

Emory, Redlands tied for top spot in 2022-23 Mizuno WGCA Div. III coaches poll

The second Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll of the season has a tie up at the top in Division III.

We have a tie.

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association released its second Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll of the 2022-23 season and there are two teams knotted up at the top in Division III.

Emory, which was No. 1 in the preseason poll released three weeks ago, received eight first-place votes this time around.

Redlands collected the four remaining first-place votes and jumped six spots.

Each team received 287 total points, which ties them for No. 1 in the poll.

George Fox drops one spot to No. 3.

There’s another tie in the poll at No. 4 between Carnegie Mellon and Methodist.

Findlay collected the most first-place votes, but Dallas Baptist is No. 1.

Findlay collected the most first-place votes with seven, but Dallas Baptist is the No. 1-ranked team in the 2022-23 Mizuno WGCA Div. II preseason coaches poll for women’s golf, which was released Friday.

DBU got five of the of the 13 available first-place votes, but edged defending Div. II champion Findlay in total points in the poll to snag the top spot.

Andseron garnered the remaining first-place vote and will check in at No. 3 in the poll.

Lynn is No. 4 and Limestone, which finished runner up last spring in the NCAAs, is No. 5.
