Missouri at Florida: Three things to know
- The Tigers have been in a tailspin lately, losing four of the past five games since their 68-65 upset win over Alabama Feb. 6. Mizzou was dropped 60-53 at home to Ole Miss Tuesday, and it’s just 1-4 ATS across the past five outings.
- Florida rolls in on a three-game win streak, while covering the past two. The Gators won as 1.5-point underdogs at Kentucky 71-67 Saturday with the Under (141.5) cashing. In fact, the Under has hit in five straight games for the Gators.
- For Mizzou, the Over is 8-2-1 in the past 11 games, 4-0-1 in its past five road games and 4-1 in the past five against winning teams.

Florida 77, Missouri 68
Money line (ML)
Florida (-185) is just a little over my personal limit for money line plays, as you have to risk nearly twice as much as your potential return. Over the long haul, that’s not a good betting strategy.

Against the spread (ATS)
FLORIDA -3.5 (-115) has covered each of its past two games, while Missouri has failed to cover in four of the past five. The Tigers are also 1-3 straight-up and 1-3 ATS across their past four games since an upset win at Tennessee Jan. 23. All signs point to a Gators cover in Gainesville.
Over/Under (O/U)
OVER 141.5 (-110) is the lean. Missouri’s defense has been horrible for most of the season. The Tigers are just 214th in defensive scoring average, allowing 71.5 PPG. The Gators have rolled up 75.9 PPG to rank 75th in the nation. They’re a good shooting team, and they rank 38th in free-throws percentage at 75.6%. Defensively, UF has allowed 69.9 PPG, which ranks 172nd. This won’t be end-to-end action, but the Over is worth a small-unit play based on Mizzou’s trends.
