After being listed as questionable all week with a foot injury, we now know the status of Pro Bowl safety Harrison Smith.

Smith was ruled inactive for the team’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 16. The team has relied on Smith for his playmaking ability this year, but his coverage skills have also been polished off with the work defensive coordinator Brian Flores has been asking of him.

The Vikings will also be without defensive role players Fabian Moreau and Jalen Redmond.

A pair of undrafted free agents, Dwight McGlothern and Levi Drake Rodriguez, will be playing in place of Moreau and Redmond. In the case of Harrison Smith, veteran Theo Jackson will get the starting nod against a Seahawks passing attack that brings a dynamic attack.

The Vikings and Seahawks kickoff at 4:05 p.m. EST/3:05 p.m. CST as Minnesota looks to continue their march to an NFC North title.
