The Minnesota Timberwolves (4-7) wrap up their four-game road trip Saturday when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers (7-4). Tip-off is set for 10:30 p.m. ET at Staples Center. Below, we look at the Timberwolves vs. Clippers odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.
The Timberwolves play a second consecutive night in L.A. after they snapped a six-game losing skid with a 107-83 defeat of the Los Angeles Lakers Friday. They have lost seven of nine games after starting the season 2-0.
The Clippers are in the middle of a six-game homestand and are rolling, having won six games in a row. Forward Paul George is averaging 26.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game, leading the team in all three categories.

Timberwolves at Clippers odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Clippers 123, Timberwolves 110
Money line
Minnesota might have picked up a win against a Lakers team without F LeBron James Friday, but being that it was only their second win in their last nine games it would seem unwise to bet them to beat the Clippers outright. L.A. has won six in a row and eight of their last 10 games.
The Clippers are 5-2 at home this season and have won their last four games at Staples Center.
The odds are almost too short to be worth a wager, but take the CLIPPERS (-280).
Against the spread
Only one team has performed worse against the spread this season so far than Minnesota. The Timberwolves are 3-8 ATS and their cover last night ended a streak of six consecutive games when they failed to do so.
The Clippers failed to cover the spread as 5-point favorites in their last win, a 112-109 victory over the Miami Heat Friday. L.A. is 4-2 ATS in its six-game winning streak and has won its last six games by an average of 10.2 points.
I don’t expect the Timberwolves to play at the same level two nights in a row.
Take the CLIPPERS -6.5 (-115).
Over/Under
Only three of Minnesota’s games all season have gone Over the projected total, and all three have come in their last five games. Their opponents have scored 120 or more points in three of their last five games.
The Clippers have had only five games go Over the projected total, but four of them have come in their last five games.
Take OVER 220.5 (-110).
