Nuggets at Timberwolves: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Nuggets 118, Timberwolves 105
Money line (ML)
The Nuggets (-400) are an extremely risky play, as they have won just once in five outings. You can’t lay four times your potential return on a team like that. AVOID.
Against the spread (ATS)
NUGGETS -8.5 (-110) have won just once, as mentioned above, so you might think they have no business laying more than four buckets on the road. However, they’re an amazing 20-5-1 ATS across the past 26 trips to the Twin Cities. Denver is going to get it cranking sooner or later, and they’re much healthier than Minnesota.
Over/Under (O/U)
UNDER 226.5 (-110) is also the play based upon the series trends. The Under has hit in four of the past five meetings overall, and each of the past four in the Twin Cities.
Minnesota is also struggling to score the basketball, going for just 105.6 points per game to rank just 25th in the NBA. They’re also 27th in field-goal percentage (42.6) and 29th in 3-pointer shooting.
