Miles Bridges reacts to NBA 2k ‘Top Dunkers’ ratings snub

Did NBA 2K snub former Spartans’ star Miles Bridges with their “Top Dunkers” ratings for this year’s game?

It’s fair to say Miles Bridges has proven himself to be one of the best dunkers in the NBA — but NBA 2K doesn’t believe that’s the case.

NBA 2K tweeted out the “top dunkers” ratings for the 2K22 video game on Wednesday and Bridges was left off their list. The popular video game listed Zion Williamson, Zach LaVine, Aaron Gordon, Derrick Jones Jr., and Ja Morant as the top five dunkers in the game.

This tweet caused a reaction from Bridges — who I’d personally consider to be one of the best dunkers in the NBA. Here’s the tweet from Bridges:

After this past season, I’m not sure what more Bridges could possibly do to gain some more recognition from NBA 2K. But maybe this will motivate him to put out even more highlight-reel plays this upcoming season.

Miles Bridges continues to make incredible highlight-reel plays this season.

Bridges — who played for Michigan State from 2016-2018 — has had numerous highlight dunks this season for the Charlotte Hornets, and he again delivered on Sunday. This one was an incredible alley-oop one-handed dunk by Bridges against the Phoenix Suns — check out the play below:

It’s truly incredible to watch some of the plays Bridges is able to make and this was just another example of his high-flying dunking ability.

Bridges finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds in this game. The Suns got the best of the Hornets in overtime, 101-97.

It seems like every single night there’s a new Miles Bridges super highlight circulating on social media or on SportsCenter so it’s only fitting that there be a highlight reel of each dunk.

The NBA’s official Twitter account put together an extremely impressive highlight reel of connections between new Charlotte Hornet’s teammate LaMelo Ball and the former Michigan State Spartan. Below you can watch some of these incredible plays:

The highlight-reel plays are getting a lot of attention, but Bridges is overall off to a nice start this season. He’s averaging 9.7 points and 5.1 rebounds coming off the bench for the Hornets — who are 10-12 and currently in 8th place in the Eastern Conference.
