Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout [autotag]Mike Evans[/autotag] is set to get a bag in free agency for 2024, and NFL’s official Twitter showcased a big reason why he deserves it.
The NFL released a video of their top 10 catches of 2023 on Twitter, and Evans was mentioned among the list — a catch he made in Week 3 of the regular season came in a No. 6 on the list.
The catch in question was against the Philadelphia Eagles (the first time). Down big at the beginning of the fourth quarter, quarterback Baker Mayfield launched a pass down the middle of the field to Evans, who was tightly covered by safety Reed Blankenship. Evans responded to the call, leaping high above him and essentially catching the football on top of him before careening back down to earth and securing the grab.
