Michigan State football is set to open the Jonathan Smith era with a meeting against Florida Atlantic on Friday night. The matchup between the Spartans and Owls will be the fourth in the two programs histories, as well as the first since 2011.
Florida Atlantic head coach Tom Herman took the stand for his weekly press conference on Monday, along with QB Cam Fancher and DB Jayden Williams, to preview their season opener against Michigan State.
