Michigan State football will be squaring off with Boston College in a highly anticipated game between two schools with new head coaches that are seemingly on the rise.

Jonathan Smith and Bill O’Brien have both spoke to the media, previewing the matchup, as well as MSU’s TE coach Brian Wozniak, all weighing in on the big game ahead.

MSU running back Nathan Carter was the latest Spartan to break down the matchup against Boston College with the media.

MSU TE coach Brian Wozniak spoke to the media on Tuesday, previewing the matchup with BC:

Michigan State and Boston College will be squaring off in Chestnut Hill this Saturday, under the lights. The Spartans will look to continue their unbeaten record, while the Eagles will look to bounce back from a loss against Missouri.

Ahead of the matchup between the Big Ten and ACC’s respective members, MSU head coach Jonathan Smith and BC head coach Bill O’Brien both spoke to the media, previewing the matchup from their perspectives.

Now, on Tuesday, it was an MSU assistant coach given the chance to preview the game. Brian Wozniak, the team’s tight ends coach, spoke to the media – previewing the game with Boston College.

Bill O’Brien previewed BC’s matchup with MSU this weekend:

Michigan State football is going on the road on Saturday night to face off against Boston College in a big time non-conference matchup. The matchup will be Boston College’s infamous “Red Bandana” game, a tradition that is one of college football’s best.

Ahead of the matchup between the Eagles and Spartans, Jonathan Smith spoke to the media on Monday, previewing the game. On Tuesday, it was Boston College head coach Bill O’Brien’s turn to take the stand, and speak to the media, previewing the matchup with MSU.

MSU’s big time 2024 nonconference opponent Boston College has lost their head coach, according to reports

The focal point of Michigan State’s 2024 non conference schedule is a road trip to the northeast, for a road trip against Boston College of the ACC. That road trip may have gotten easier for the Spartans.

Boston College head coach Jeff Hafley is leaving the program, and will be joining the Green Bay Packers as the team’s new defensive coordinator.

Boston College will have a hard time hiring a coach, and retaining the roster, before this fall.

No. 7 Michigan State drops game one to No. 3 Boston College, will look for split

No. 7 MSU drops game on against No. 3 BC, will look to split series on Friday night:

Michigan State traveled to Chesnut Hill for a highly anticipated, and star studded clash, with the Boston College Eagles, the No. 3 team in the nation. It was a valiant effort for the Spartans, but ultimately the team fell short in game one, losing 6-4.

Karsen Dorwart led the way for MSU, scoring two goals in the game, while Jeremy Davidson and Red Savage also added to the scoring column.

The Spartans will look for a split in the series when the rematch takes place on Friday at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

No. 8 Michigan State hockey set for huge clash with No. 3 Boston College this week

No. 8 Michigan State travels to the east coast for a top ten matchup with No. 3 Boston College this week:

Michigan State is off to a hot start to the 2023-24 hockey season, currently ranked No. 8 in the country and starting the season 5-1 after sweeping Lake Superior State and Canisius, while splitting with Air Force. The Spartans are set for a real test this upcoming weekend on the road.

The Spartans will be travelling to the east coast to face off against Boston College, who currently ranks as the No. 3 team in the country according to the USCHO rankings and hold a record of 3-1.

Both games, on Thursday and Friday, will begin at 7 p.m. and will be featured on ESPN+.
