Michigan State football will be breaking out a classic throwback look for its season finale matchup against Rutgers this week.

The Spartans will be sporting the “Block S” logo helmet for this week’s game against Rutgers. Michigan State announced their plan of wearing this helmet earlier this week. Click here to see the official uniform reveal video.

Michigan State comes into this game with Rutgers needing a victory to go bowling. The Spartans are 5-6 overall and 3-5 in Big Ten play. Michigan State has reached the postseason since 2021.

Kickoff between Michigan State and Rutgers is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

The Spartans will be wearing a white helmet with a green block S on the side of it.
