The Spartans open as a eight-point underdog against Iowa this week. Michigan State will travel to Iowa on Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Michigan State has been blown out in each of its last two games, being outscored by Washington and Maryland 72-to-16 in those two games combined. Iowa is also coming off a tough outing this week, getting shut out by Penn State, 31-0.

Michigan State’s Peach Bowl matchup is essentially a toss-up according to the betting experts.

Some betting outlets had Michigan State open as an underdog, however, the news that Pitt starting quarterback Kenny Pickett might sit out the game has shifted the spread.
