MSU Basketball to reportedly play FAU in December

MSU Basketball to reportedly host Florida Atlantic for non-conference matchup in December

Michigan State football will play Florida Atlantic this week to open the season, and the basketball squads will also reportedly meet on the hardwood later this year.

College basketball insider Rocco Miller is reporting that Michigan State will host Florida Atlantic in a non-conference matchup in late December. The game is tentatively scheduled for December 21 at the Breslin Center.

Florida Atlantic is coming off back-to-back trips to the NCAA Tournament, which included a Final Four run in 2023. However, the Owls have lost quite a bit from those two teams, including head coach Dusty May who is now at rival Michigan.
