Watch highlights from the Spartans’ victory over Bowling Green on Saturday night

A win is a win. That was the feeling after a lackluster performance from Michigan State basketball on Saturday night.

Michigan State trailed most of the game, but a strong finish was enough for the Spartans to survive an upset scare from Bowling Green at the Breslin Center. Michigan State finished the game on an 18-0 run and held the Falcons without a field goal in the final seven minutes for the 86-72 victory.

Michigan State had seven different players reach double-digits in points in the win. Jaden Akins led the way with 13 points and also 12 rebounds for the double-double.

The Spartans are now 3-1 overall following the win over Bowling Green. Michigan State will next take the floor on Tuesday in a home non-conference game against Samford.
