The next few months are going to be very important Michigan State’s 2021 basketball recruiting class and Rivals basketball recruiting writer Chris Evans thinks they could be very bountiful months.
In his weekly Wednesday’s Leftovers column Evans answers a question about how he thinks MSU’s 2021 class will shape up. In that answer he calls the pursuit of five-star guard Christie a “toss-up” but that his future cast currently favors the Spartans. That would be a huge recruiting win for MSU, over Duke and many other programs. The Spartans offered Max’s younger brother Cam–a class of 2023 guard–last week.
Evans also says that he thinks MSU will take one of either Jaden Akins or Kobe Bufkin, two of the top prospects in the state of Michigan in the 2021 class. Evans guesses that Akins will be the one that ends up going green. He has been closely linked with the program throughout his recruitment.
Evans also talks about some other players on MSU’s radar including Charles Bediako and James Graham who Izzo offered just last week.
