Michael Sheen is basically now Wales head coach after another incredible speech

The USMNT’s worst nightmare has come to fruition

The nightmare scenario for the U.S. national team has come to fruition: Michael Sheen is delivering motivational speeches directly to the Wales national team.

The Welsh actor already went viral this month when he delivered a rousing speech on the Sky Sports sports comedy quiz show “A League Of Their Own.”

Wales, smartly realizing the potential power of Sheen actually addressing its players directly, brought the actor into camp last weekend to deliver a stirring rendition of his motivational speech.

There was the same mention of a “red storm coming to the gates of Qatar” and the “spirit of ’58 and Jimmy Murphy’s boys,” but Sheen also added a few more spine-tingling lines that surely left the Welsh players ready to run through a brick wall.

If Wales actually brings Sheen to Qatar, the USMNT might lose its opening World Cup game 10-0.

The USMNT would be screwed if Michael Sheen were Wales coach

We are all ready to run through a brick wall for Wales

Wales head coach Rob Page may not need to give any team talks at the World Cup.

Instead, Page may be better off repeatedly playing the incredible speech that Welsh actor Michael Sheen delivered on the Sky Sports sports comedy quiz show “A League Of Their Own.”

Sheen was asked by host Romesh Ranganathan what he would say if given the chance to deliver a team talk to Wales ahead of the upcoming World Cup.

After taking a moment to collect himself and letting some dramatic music begin, Sheen delivered an incredible speech including chill-inducing lines like “a victory song that floats through the valleys, like a red mist, rolls over the mountain tops, like crimson thunder. A red storm is coming to the gates of Qatar!”

The actor has some experience delivering team talks after he played legendary coach Brian Clough in “The Damned United” in 2009 — and it showed.

We are all ready to run through a brick wall for Wales.

The Welsh kick off their World Cup campaign, of course, against the U.S. on November 21, before they also face England and Iran in Group B.
