The Memphis Grizzlies (27-14) plays its second straight game in Tinseltown Sunday when they meet a surging Los Angeles Lakers (21-19) at Crypto.com Arena. Tip-off is set for 9:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Grizzlies vs. Lakers odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.
Memphis beat the Los Angeles Clippers yesterday (Saturday) 123-108 as 2-point road favorites for its eighth straight victory (7-1 ATS).
Over the past two weeks, the Grizzlies have the third-best adjusted net rating at plus-13.5 points per 100 possessions and the best spread differential at a plus-12.5 ATS margin, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).
L.A. won its fourth consecutive game Friday by hammering the Atlanta Hawks, 134-118, as 1.5-point home favorites.
In the last 14 days, the Lakers are 5-1 overall, 5-1 ATS and 4-2 O/U with the fourth-best adjusted net rating at plus-10.8 points per 100 possessions, per CTG.
Memphis has won and covered two of its three meetings with L.A. this season, which includes back-to-back victories.

Grizzlies at Lakers odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Grizzlies 117, Lakers 112
Money line
PASS with a “lean” towards the Grizzlies (+130) because I “lean” Memphis plus the points in this spot and generally will sprinkle on an underdog’s money line when betting them to cover.
However, given the unknown surrounding Memphis’s injury report—specifically Morant’s status—and how hot LeBron has been lately, I’d rather just take the points with the Grizzlies.
Against the spread
“LEAN” to the GRIZZLIES +3.5 (-108), which I’d upgrade to a “like” if Morant and/or Brooks are available for this contest.
It would probably be best to wait until the official starting 5’s of both teams are announced before making a wager.
That said, Memphis has two strength-on-weakness edges in its favor in the ball security and rebounding departments.
For instance, the Grizzlies have the sixth-highest defensive turnover rate and the best offensive rebounding rate. Whereas the Lakers are 22nd in offensive turnover rate and 24th in defensive rebounding rate.
Furthermore, Memphis scores the fifth-most points off of turnovers and the fourth-most second-chance points per game. While L.A. gives up the seventh-most points off of turnovers and the seventh-most second-chance points per game.
Over/Under
“LEAN” to the OVER 225.5 (-115) since L.A. plays at the fastest pace in the NBA and Memphis plays at the 11th-fastest pace. Also, the Lakers are 15-9 O/U in L.A. and have gone Over the total in six of their last seven as a favorite.
But, I’m still hesitant to give out the OVER 225.5 (-115) without knowing Morant’s game status, and the Under has cashed in the previous two Grizzlies-Lakers meetings.
